    Some LMT'D updates

After watching the LMT'D assembly video again I think the split ring they sent was wrong. At 1:52 the split ring can get pushed all the way in. If mine did that the sleeve ring and spacers would probably fall right into place. I'll have to send an email to Ride1UP tomorrow.

    Some LMT'D updates

I gave up on assembling it tonight. I messed around with the fork for quite a while wondering what I was doing wrong. After checking out the Facebook page my bike was one of the ones shipped with the wrong size sleeve ring. Also the bolt on the top had a chunk of metal in the thread. Luckily I...

    Some LMT'D updates

Well I got my bike. Considering I'm in the same state Nevada as the Ride1up warehouse, Fed ex did one hell of a job on the packaging between point A and point B. Considering the shape of the box when I received it the only things I noticed so far is the charger has some surface scratches since...

    Some LMT'D updates

Update from Fedex. My shipment was sent from Sparks NV. to the one in City of Industry CA. outside of L.A. Doesn't make much sense to me since it adds over 400 miles to the distance for a total of 800. Go figure.

    Some LMT'D updates

Seems to be a huge batch of LMT'Ds going out on the Ride1up Facebook page including mine. I received my Email with the Fedex tracking number saying delivery date is tomorrow. It has left the Fedex facility in Sparks NV. and I live in Las Vegas 400 miles away so I'm thinking there is a good...

    Some LMT'D updates

For the seatpost it must be easier to adjust and the skewer for quick tire removal. It is the same on this $4600.00 model. https://electricbikereview.com/moustache/samedi-27-xroad-5/

My amps were set at 18 Ride1up suggest 11

The charger will not work on their bikes? I've been using it for almost two years on a 11.4 amp and 17.5 amp 48 volt Reention batteries one with Samsung cells and the other Panasonic cells and setting the charger at 90% or 100% charge with no problem. Always shuts off when it gets to the charge...

My amps were set at 18 Ride1up suggest 11

Bikeman, I think you need to first make sure the battery is charging to 100%. My E-Glide ST does not have a sophisticated display like yours so besides PAS 1 - 5 and battery BMS in Volts, speed and odometer there is nothing to mess around with so I just ride. I would ride it and if your not...

Lmt'd standard version vs step through

I think you need to ask yourself if you can swing your leg over the seat and frame now and in two years. If the answer is probably not get a step through. If you have problems getting your feet on the ground at a stop get a step through and maybe a drop seat post. My friend Chris is 77 and...

First impressions of first ride today

As far as warp speed, I would use a GPS or a smartphone to verify what the controller is telling you. If the controller is set on a smaller wheel size it will state a faster mph. You can adjust it's accuracy by changing the wheel size. But it might be right.

    Cheaper Shimano Derailleur on LMT’D.

Maybe they make a Deore sticker you can put over the derailler! I was going to put a Cannondale sticker over the Ride1up logo. My friends $2800.00 Dost Drop comes with a Altus derailler, Two of my friends that have E-bikes never shift. They find the gear that works best for them and leave it...

    Why no action here?

I'm glad the LMT'D does not have the brake cut off for the motor. To me it is just more parts that can eventually fail. You get the same effect if you just stop pedaling. My current E-bike does not have brake cut off and I have no problem stopping.
