Wahoo ELEMNT Ace (on Specialized E-Bikes)

@Darth_Vado: Visibility of Wahoo ACE in full sunshine (unless your e-bike faces the Sun).

Wahoo ELEMNT Ace (on Specialized E-Bikes)

Hi Darth 😊 Here's the worst visibility example for my Wahoo ACE. The e-bike faces the Sun. (The font is smaller than usual because of Auto Pause)

2026 - Our Rides in Words, Photos, Maps and Videos

MOTS, or Mikeš On Tour, Secretly I wanted to be alone on Saturday. Specifically, I banned Tommy from joining me on the ride; I wanted him to be well rested before our Sunday trip to River Sona! Therefore, I kept my ride plan private to me :) One of the ride objectives was to find a good...

California tries to limit to 250 watt???

Your Levo in the default ECO mode has the peak power capped at a little below 200 W (197.5 W). If we assume your motor had max leg amplification of 4x, then your leg power is amplified by ECO 1.4x. You need to input 197.5/1.4 = 141 W to get at that motor power cap. Owned you a Garmin or a Wahoo...

Wahoo ELEMNT Ace (on Specialized E-Bikes)

In what application and how exactly do you set the POIs so Wahoo can recognize them? I know where the ACE screen for that is but I could not manage creating my own POIs to show on the Wahoo yet.

    Turbo Creo with SRAM etap

Hydraulic lines of SRAM are different from Shimano and use different brake fluid. You cannot connect SRAM brifters to Shimano brake calipers.

Semi-solid state batteries are coming to the e-bike industry – and for real this time

It is interesting all the pictures in the article showed e-motorcycles.

Wahoo ELEMNT Ace (on Specialized E-Bikes)

Just a remark: It is to some extent a waste of an expensive device (I respect Jeremy's choice, though) not to make it a central device that is connected to the e-bike and a HRM. E-bike can be connected both to Wahoo and the Specialized app... (Wahoo is connected by ANT+ while the smartphone is...

    Control Mahle X35+

Strava E-Bike Segments are still unavailable on any Garmin or Wahoo and I doubt these will be ever made available to GPS bike computer manufacturers. According to Garmin documentation, the Explore 2 has the e-bike connection capability.

Wahoo ELEMNT Ace (on Specialized E-Bikes)

Sure you need no e-bike data on your Garmin or Wahoo :) Still, I also use the ACE on my big Vado 6.0 as I prefer seeing everything on a single Workout screen, including the battery level, assist mode, cadence, leg power (I use all 11 available data fields). I had a fair chance to use both Wahoo...

Wahoo ELEMNT Ace (on Specialized E-Bikes)

I would say ACE screen is not the best visible as I ride towards the Sun but it could be also caused by my photochromic glasses :) Still, I can see everything I need to see on the screen. Garmin users also complain a little for the direct sunlight visibility. Anecdotally, Wahoo 2 screen is...

Electronic Drivetrain: Is it worth the hype?

No idea what the drivetrain was but I suspect it was misadjusted. E-drivetrains usually allow doing micro adjustments using the handlebar remote (similarly to a barrel adjuster). Also, an e-drivetrain can be lightning fast, depending on the settings. I think you had a really bad luck. Long...

Electronic Drivetrain: Is it worth the hype?

I was on a longer Creo 1 ride once, which gave me the understanding how Shimano brifters worked. (Turned out a drop-bar bike was not good for me!) But that's not what I wanted to say. If you are upgrading a mechanical 1x MTB drivetrain to wireless, you just replace the derailleur and the...

Pulsar does not do the GPS navigation I guess. Does it the ride recording autonomically (not connected to a smartphone) with the integration with popular services such as Strava or Komoot?

Electronic Drivetrain: Is it worth the hype?

Good to know! Anything related to the drop bars still remains a mystery to me... I think the brifters make the thing quite complicated?
