Anyone else still putting miles on their RipCurrent S?

I appreciate everyone's input. I took a gamble and bought another sensor from the same guy that I bought the last one from. It wasn't his fault but that sensor never worked right. I thought I had replaced it needlessly and I managed to pull a wire out of the original sensor when I removed it...

Anyone else still putting miles on their RipCurrent S?

Thanks.. the pins are there. I never knew they were there until I replaced the motor. I'm sure they are there for some good reason. Freaked me out when my new motor showed up and I saw those little pins. I thought I had ordered the wrong thing.

Anyone else still putting miles on their RipCurrent S?

I do appreciate the suggestion. I've not tried using a conductive jelly at the connections but they all take great effort to pull apart and I see no bent pins. I disabled the brake motor cutoffs just in case one was adjusted so close to no brake in use that it gave a false shutoff to the motor...

Anyone else still putting miles on their RipCurrent S?

Thanks for the well wishes. The problem is not the controller. It acts the same with the original controller. It seemed a bit sluggish but that's the difference between the sensor reads of the two controllers. I rode three quick miles. At least it was sensing my pedaling most of the time...

Anyone else still putting miles on their RipCurrent S?

I experienced brief power lulls last fall and replaced the cadence/torque sensor with an after market sensor from a guy on Juiced fb group. It seemed to fix my problem and then it acted up again. I put the original controller back on the bike at that point but the bike was still cutting out...

Anyone else still putting miles on their RipCurrent S?

I may have come to the end of putting miles on my RCS. I put a bit over 4k on my 2019 750w bike before selling it and today I ran out of assist on my 2023 1000w love of my life at 23,864 miles. I ordered the bike and the newly offered upgraded controller July of 23 and installed the upgrade at...

    RipRacer Hub Siezed

With so few miles and only six months ownership, I would seek assistance from Juiced. I've not dealt with them on anything major but my few minor problems were quickly addressed. 1 (888) 303-8889 The reps are friendly and seem to care. The worst scenario would be they tell you that you are...

    RipCurrent S - Cruise control doesn't work ?

Though I don't use the feature, I tested it when I first got my RCS 19 and when I got the new 23. I upgraded the controller and tested that as well. It behaved just as it should with all three controllers. I'd contact Juiced support if you plan on using the cruise feature. It should not be...

a little hot on the ride home.

I never drink and ride. I rarely ride over 40 miles and I rehydrate when I get home. I mow lawns commercially for 4 to 5 hours a day and I don't drink anything while working either. I don't advocate that it's a healthy practice but it has never bothered me and I'm in my seventies.

    Hello from Kansas

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum but not to e-bikes. I currently have a 2019 Juiced RipCurrent S and a new 2023 model with the 1000w motor. I have rode bikes most all of my life. There is nothing equal to the peace of mind that a good ride brings to me. Now in my 70's I'm riding again...
