    Step-Thrus delivered (Black) w/images & timeline

    Of course there is less room for "other things" if you use the room for a 2nd bike (which is an other thing, huh?) Just my opinion, but I don't think the time required to tote-ize a bike after folding it is an issue. Folding is one of the features we bought the thing for. Leisure, rather than...

    Step-Thrus delivered (Black) w/images & timeline

    The handlebars are not just folded, they are completely pulled out and positioned where the electrical connection cords permit. With no parts projecting outside the sides of the tote, orientation in the vehicle is optional. No parts stick outside the tote (except at the top) to damage the...

    Step-Thrus delivered (Black) w/images & timeline

    The "Handles" on this tote are yellow, ...but mostly serve as latches to keep the top on. Some buyers have complained that they were fragile, or easily broken, ...not real sturdy enough for lifting/tugging the tote when loaded, ...so I removed ours(since the top can't be used with a bike inside...

    Lectric Xp and dog?

    Hey guys, Aren''t we here because we are fortunate enough to be able to afford these nice bikes, and because we are willing/able to share helpful info/experience? "I'm smarter than you (quicker-witted than you, more knowledgable than you ) is not a claim or contest that can really be won with...

    Giving credit where due: Big Red is one of the vehicles of "Adventure Outdoors", who is the original poster of the YouTube video. I simply provided a link to it.

    Any pointers loading XP into back of SUV

    No, the bike sticks out of the open top. (Tip - do not lift the container by the yellow "handles", ...those are really fragile latches to keep the lid on.) Here's a youtube showing the bike in the large tote, with( in the vehicle) and without the handlebars folded;

    Lectric Xp and dog?

    A 90 lb. dog running next to you is one thing. A 90 lb. dog running after a cat/squirrel/other dog/other cyclist while tethered to you is a nother (dangerous ) thing. The same dog running untethered next to you is probably illegal, ...most places require dogs on public property to be on a leash...

    Lectric XP stolen in seconds...

    ...and instead of the fence rail? Time counts for a thief. Bike and fence both probably softer metal than the lock = quicker cut? Nice of the thief, though, to make the image to warn us! (or maybe just some good Photoshop work?)

    Outside (Hitch Rack) vs. Inside (Tote) Transport

    We're talkin' SUV (so called) if we are wanting to haul this much stuff, right? Keep the $2500 worth of bikes safely inside, and use other options for the rest, ...roof rack carrier, hitch platform carrier, utility trailer, hired help driving 2nd vehicle, Sherpa bearers, put some in the boat...

    Outside (Hitch Rack) vs. Inside (Tote) Transport

    Hi BET, No intent to squabble here. I don't think I said bikes are hard to load on racks. I credited the rack with an easier/lower lift. As to cost, I had in mind the 2-bike rack demoed by Jeremiah McIntosh on youtube, (about $350 I think,) ...and the large tote from Lowe's, about $37 If I...
