I got my Aventure in June. OP is right about the learning curve - it was fun from the start but I'm a lot better on it after riding it. I should be getting my rack today and am looking forward to getting out of town for some new terrain. No regrets at all.

I think you should reconsider your expectations about insurance. Unless they are very different in the UK from the US, you're going to be going without your transportation for the duration while they process your claim. Then there's the delay while you wait for your replacement to arrive...

Being new to eBikes, is there some reason the seats tend toward large and soft? I've been a bike rider for many years and it seems all my seats have been a lot more streamlined. Is it the older demographic or maybe just that weight doesn't matter very much?
