Coffee and E-biking, my two favorite combined things to do

Thank you for that article, Mike. I usually ride alone, and almost always stop at a Starbucks during, or at the end of my ride. I like having some kind of destination. Very often, while sitting on the patio, people will come over and ask about my new Rad Rover, which I am always happy to talk...

Trust me. Your on-line purchased ebikes will be delivered safe and sound...

It really bothers me when I hear stories like this, and encounter people who have no integrity and no interest in doing their jobs well. I don’t know why, but I’m seeing it more and more now, to the point where I think it has become the norm, rather than the exception.

    Speedometer inaccuracy

I would say just live with it, if it’s within a couple of mph. I’ve had several Honda motorcycles in the last couple of years, and they were all off by at least 5 kph.

    Anyone order the RadMission?

Thanks for the picture, it looks really nice! It looks almost a cream colour, which I think looks better than plain white.

    Anyone order the RadMission?

My kickstand is on the way!😊. Hoping the bike won’t be far behind!

    My First Real Crash.

I’m sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you get well soon and are able to get back riding again. Thank you for sharing your experience of being unconscious; very interesting!

    New Rover “Limited Edition”

I see Rad is releasing a new “limited edition” Rover. The only difference seems to be the colour, which looks like the same green as the Rad Runner. I felt disappointed that the video promoting the bike is a guy going bow hunting in the woods. I guess I had thought of Rad as an ethical...

    What are your riding techniques?

Dallant what kind of seat and tires are on your bike? I have the Rad Rover, and your seat looks a lot more comfortable.

Radmission accelerator work on highest motor assist?

I agree. I had the same experience, and was also impressed. I’m happy to be supporting what seems like a very good company. Hoping the Mission arrives early. They told me my Rover would be the end of October, and it arrived last week! It’s an amazing bike, I’m loving it!

    RadRover tubes

Thank you for the link. Unfortunately, they are 2 for $50 plus $10 shipping from Amazo.ca. Cheaper than the Kenda ones anyway.

    RadRover tubes

I just checked the price of the Kenda tube on Amazon: $50! Cdn. Yikes! That’s as much as the tire. I think I will be investing in a couple of patch kits!

    Radmission dates?

I was told in an email a couple of weeks ago the end of October for the Mission and the Rover. Then the Rover arrived less than a week later! Hoping the Mission arrives soon! On the Canadian website it says they are shipping in November now.

Rad Power Raises Prices for some models

Thank you for that analysis, Mike. It is a lot more complex than I. and probably most people, realize. I read an interview with Mike Radenbaugh recently and he said he goes to bed every night with his head just spinning. No wonder! I do hope Rad does well, and doesn’t just become another large...

    RadRover tubes

I see the Rad website doesn’t offer tubes for my new Rover. Is that because they never get flat tires?😊 Where do people get replacement tubes?

    Rad mission, anyone?

I‘m waiting for a red one, hoping it arrives before the snow! The only accessory I ordered was the front basket. I will post my thoughts once I have a chance to ride it. I’m loving the Rover that came last week!

    Still waiting for my ebikes

Charge the battery after the first three rides. After the first, second, and third ride, regardless of distance ridden or the amount of battery used, charge the battery and leave the charger attached to the battery and the outlet for as close to 12 hours as possible (but not longer than 12...

    Still waiting for my ebikes

You are supposed to charge the battery for 12 hours after your first 3 rides in order to “balance” the battery, whatever that means!

    Still waiting for my ebikes

My Rover arrived yesterday! What a nice surprise after just being advised it would be the end of October! I went out for its inaugural ride this morning, and it was great! Unfortunately, I ran out of power after 10 km, so now I have to charge it for 12 hours!

    Still waiting for my ebikes

I am in Ontario. I ordered the Rover more than a month ago, and the Mission about 3 weeks ago from the Canadian website. I was hoping at least one of the bikes would arrive by early October so I would still have some nice riding weather. I saw last week on the website it said the Rover was in...

    Battery winter care

Hi Jaizon. I am waiting for 2 ebikes ordered from Rad Powerbikes to arrive. This is what they say about storing the battery: For battery storage longer than two weeks, the battery should be kept at around 75% charged, powered off, and stored in a dry place between 50 °F and 77 °F (10 °C and 25...
