Are the 700 XR handlebars OK?

I have the xr and I'm 5'7 and find them perfect. The stem is adjustable, contrary to another reply. I angled the stem a bit more upwards, not too much, adjusted the display and the throttle but everything is perfect. Riding position is relaxed. I too was afraid that I would need to reach the...

Small display and power quirks on my 700

the new 700's are limited to 750 peak instead of the earlier models at 1000. They've had some problems with overheating if it stays too long at higher levels. I've seen mine up there close to 1000 but very briefly.

Which Do You Prefer Cadence or Torque Sensor?

I read that also re: throttle and PAS pedalling and was wondering if mine was acting the same way since I only use the throttle when taking off. I tried it and mine does gives a boost while pedalling. Glad for that but like I said, won't use it that much anyway.

    700 "How to ride question"

The 0-9 setting is great since 1= 10% and under 10kmh the motor is very silent or not on it's almost like 0. On bike paths that's the best but if on city streets or countryside with hills I like to use the 0-5.

    Checked out a Specialized Vado 4.0-compared to a 700

Don't forget the throttle, a plus for the 700. My sister, husband and my wife's sister own Vado 4 and I had a quick drag race with the brother in law, smoked him and I found out later my power output was set at 7amps instead of my usual 17amps. The fact you can tweak the PAS levels for...

I have the 700 but try this anyway, when in normal display mode, pressing + & - brings a menu, display menu is where you can reset. If you want to reset the LCD to factory defaults, in the normal display, pressing both "on" & - at the same time, resets to default settings. But the total...

    Just placed order

I believe the backorder problem was with the pandemic and their supply chain that starts in China. They also experienced a problem with a shipment container and the paperwork involved with the batteries... Mine was shipped yesterday and looks like it's coming tomorrow... two days is better than...

    Just placed order

same here... tomorrow (Thursday the 23rd april) and bought the Park stand a couple of weeks ago on Amazon and I'm very pleased with it. Tried my wife's Benelli Classica ebike (almost as heavy) and no problem for the weight. Good quality stand and not too expensive. Almost went for a cheap...

    700 ST questions

I was looking at this one but perhaps I might need to remove the front fender or maybe just cut off the front of the fender. I was wondering if the ratchet bar could hold the down tube instead of on the front tire.

the left shift handle, when you twist down for a couple of seconds will turn on the display for low light or night time. In our case, there was a plastic tab on the headlight that you needed to remove by pulling on it. This is so the batteries inside the headlight have contact. The top black...

Just love it. She has used it more lately because of tunnel carpien surgeries to both hands she had early this spring. Sometimes I wished I bought an e-bike also. She is 5'2" and the seat has to go to it's lowest position for her. The 26" model (not available at the time at Costco) would...
