    3rd Party Fenders for R1U 500?

I have replaced my front fender on my 700 because it rattled too much. I have these that are attached with zip ties. They offer plenty of protection and are quite robust. https://reciprocators.ca/products/rrp-proguard-max-protection-front-cable-tie-velcro-fitment

Advertised/Displayed Speed vs Actual Speed, & Noise

I can't answer the noise question without having tried yours but on my 700 XR, the speed seems to reflect reality. I use a secondary bike computer with a integrated led light. It computes de cadence and speed and it is pretty similar with the 700 display.

Off road capabilities of the 500 or 700

700XR is a great bike for gravel and dirt but not designed for mountain biking on single tracks. I would suggest however, for overall comfort, to get a suspension seat post. I use the Suntour post and very satisfied.

    Early review of 700

for my PAS setting, I always set it with 0 (0-7, 0-9...) This way I find that it's safer when in 0 to control the bike in tight squeezes or doing a tight U-turn and not accidentally pedalling and surging forward.

Assembled my 700 but haven’t rode it yet.

there are gauges that you can insert when you do the alignment to create a larger space (gap) between the pads and disk.

Assembled my 700 but haven’t rode it yet.

tire wobble wont affect brake rubbing. Align your pads and make sure the disk is not slightly warped. Tons of videos on Youtube. The easy way to align the pads is loosening the calipers, squeeze the brake lever and tighten the calipers while still holding the lever. For the wobble, ride the...

    Handlebars - Riser vs Sweptback

XR Bought last year... later last summer they started shipping with the fixed stem. I believe they went back to adjustables. They keep changing features from one batch to the next.

    Handlebars - Riser vs Sweptback

My 700 came with an ajustable stem and this can help to rise and bring back the bars for a more upright position. I prefer that look to the swept back.

A comparison between the Limited and the 700

I bought my 700xr last year in March also ( came in late April ) and if I remember correctly it was listed at 1000 peak. Ride1Up changed that to 850 the next batch. It had an adjustable stem and cruise instead of the walk mode. The LMTD was not available at the time of purchase but I wouldn't...

Rode our first ebikes/May need to cancel R1U

In one video the sound, from what I can gather is with or without pedalling. Sounds like brake pads rubbing... That can sometimes fix by itself. The second video is hard to tell, grease the axle and maybe the cones are too tight. Hard for us to tell. That sound is strange.... with and...

Need information on what spokes are on our 700 bikes please

Thanks Thom for the link. I see that you posted it on the FB page. I did the same before seeing yours. We do need clarification. I'm looking for the 700 specs and I see different numbers. On the support page under the maintenance section it mentions 27.5inch: Rear wheel: 12G 220mm, 12G 222mm...
