you're stating what I am getting at. I'm not paranoid but some jobs are very sensitive and you need to follow the letter of the law or risk losing your job. I retired from a job like that. You know like some state governors, politicians and mayors (sarcasm)

been searching here and I think I found the answer. Apparently some manufacturers or dealers can limit or unlimit speed depending on what you request and they can put on the class sticker accordingly.

e.g., EBR of Magnum metro= " ELECTRIC BIKE CLASS: Throttle on Demand (Class 2), Speed Pedelec (Class 3)

I see some bikes are listed as both TOD Class 2 and Speed Pedelac Class 3 in the EBR written summaries. What is the label on bike gonna read? 2 or 3? thanks

The bike has warranty but it is a Easy motion Gravel X, and their warranty would be suspect now that they are out of NA market.

I'm looking at the Crazy guys website for any smokin deals, he has new stuff listed since BF sales but many do not have price listed which makes it hard to shop within your budget. I'm looking for first bike on a deep discount in the 1-1.5 k range. Anybody see anything? Thanks
