Juiced RCS vs Aventon Aventure I have both now

Agreed. Cadence sensor alone gives a jerky uncontrollable acceleration. So many ebike reviews I watch and almost never see them review the downside to cadence sensor vs torque sensor. Or show the differences while riding. I tried riding the Aventure off road and it was not easy on the trails. It...

Juiced RCS vs Aventon Aventure I have both now

White RCS is on pre-order. We were going to get a Trek FS4 or FS9 but they are sold out til next year. We have been riding RCS fat tire bikes for over 2 years now so they feel normal to us now.

Juiced RCS vs Aventon Aventure I have both now

After 1 day of riding the Aventure step through we decided to order the RCS Step Thru. The lack of torque sensor makes a big difference when riding. Having the addition of a torque sensor makes the pedaling more natural and no so on/off the power like cadence only. Expecting an Aug delivery of...

RCS was in R mode and the Aventon was in PAS 5.

Juiced RCS vs Aventon Aventure I have both now

When we did the test we did add the rear rack. That rack is 1lb at best. Same Bafang 750 motor. The power of the aventure jumps off the line better. The juiced RCS is heavier and a little slower to 15mph.

Juiced RCS vs Aventon Aventure I have both now

Throttle only 0-15mph drag race on flat asphault has the Aventon faster by 1 bike length over the RCS. Same rider back to back the Aventon did feel like it was putting out more torque. My butt dyno tells me so.

    Aventon Aventure Size

The small/medium seat post is an odd 30.4mm no one makes a 30.4mm seat post. Can't figure why Aventon chose that tube size for the small/medium seat post. The Med/Large uses a 31.6mm.

Aventure front Shock air Pressure Adjustable?

Just got a Step Through Aventure and wanted to know if the front Zoom fork has a schrader valve to add or remove air pressure for proper sag. Anyone Know?

Juiced RCS vs Aventon Aventure I have both now

I wanted to start this thread just because I have both bikes now. First impression of the Aventure fat tire ebike is more critical of the experience when riding. Cadence vs Cadence and torque is a big difference when riding. The Aventure riding under 10 mph is not easy to do. Nothing feels...

    Chainring on RipCurrent S

I just got the Aventure Step Through fat tire for my wife. She loves the step through and the size. The cadence only sensor will take some getting use to. Switching from the Juiced RCS torque and cadence sensor then hoping on the Aventure makes you miss the torque sensor for sure. The cadence...

    Chainring on RipCurrent S

750 watt Hub drive has the power. I own 2 RCS for the last 2 years. Smooth power assistance and quiet motor. I have done green, blue and some black trails on mine. 65lb ebike is heavy on techy trails!

    Chainring on RipCurrent S

Small change from 52 tooth to 48 tooth but has made a big difference when trail riding. I can keep my cadence up easier. Running 10-15 mph on trails is a better experience now. Less effort pedaling. Only 1 chain link removed after the change needed.

Juiced RipCurrent S Trail Riding Video

Are there others out there riding their RipCurrent on trails. I love the single track trails. I have taken many drops that a fat bike should not do but so far the bike holds up well. The biggest drop was about a 40ft drop that took me 10 min to get the courage up to do. The bike was in Assist...

New Tubeless Ready Rims for RCS Research

Rear Wheel is at the LBS and will have it all done by maybe next weekend. I have the spoke calculator done. The LBS is supplying the spokes, nipples and is lacing them.

    Tires - size does matter?

I had a LBS damage two wheels Alex35 rims trying to install Tannus Armor. I have now replaced the wheels with Bontrager Line Comp 30 TLR Boost and gone tubeless. IMO just go tubeless Tannus Armor is a nightmare.

Aventon Aventurer can't climb steep 6 mile dirt road

I did not see you listed the gear you were in when climbing in. Any steep climb gear down to 1st you need to keep the pedaling cadence speed up. At 3-15 mph mph you get the best power. 13-15 mph is the sweet spot for max power. The graph below is to show how the Bafang hub 750w and your 7% grade...

New Tubeless Ready Rims for RCS Research

Front wheel hub and rims are in so I took them to LBS for lacing. This is a 36 hole setup front and back. Next week I will get the Maxxis tires and tubeless setup completed. Next up will be the rear wheel build.

New Tubeless Ready Rims for RCS Research

Since I cannot find documentation to guide me I will be posting as I go through this process. First up I know I will have to build the wheels. No one sells exactly what I need which starts with rims. 26 rim 80mm wide 36 hole Tubeless Ready. Sun Ringle Mulefüt 80SL 36 Hole Rim For the hubs I...
