Known Issues & Problems with Eahora Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

You have far more experience than me. The eAhora XC100 is my first ebike. Earlier this year I converted my wife's Schwinn Meridian trike to a 1000-watt front hub motor. It's a lot faster than my XC100, even though it weighs 20 lbs. more.

    Mystery solved

This is good info, hroosa. Thanks. I haven't been reading this blog for a while. Combining the upgraded controller with the 48v 14Ah battery pn my XC100 might be in my future! How did you get the discount on the controller?

Regen only works in PAS0 or PAS1. The XC100 has a 350w motor. Why would you compare to a 2x500 watt setup?

    eAhora Extra Battery

Are you riding on throttle only? Which eAhora bike are you riding? I'm on the XC100. On my typical 25-mile ride, about 70% of the ride, I use e-pas level 2 but peddle continuously. About 25% on level 3, and 5% on level 1 which pushes charge back into the battery. I regularly arrive home...

Interesting...I am in Virginia, and Amazon usually applies sales tax to items purchased. Maybe it's state by state?

    eAhora Extra Battery

Thanks for the post...I have an XC100, too, and was thinking of upgrading from the 10.4 to 14ah battery, although my rides are usually under 25 miles and I have plenty of charge left. If the extra amp hours gives more power, I would go for it, but from all I've read on batteries and power it...

    Winter e-biking advices

Picked up a pair of Adidas running gloves that work well for biking. Thinsulate insulation, thin profile, sticky underside of fingers/thumb advertised as easy to use w/cellphone, and works well for good grip on handlebar. I have worn them a few times in <50 F temperatures but not anything...

Known Issues & Problems with Ancheer Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Looking at the size of the wires in comparison to the box, it could fit there. But in saying that, the controller may not be the source of your problem.

That's not the controller, although in looking at pictures of the bike, I can't identify where it is. Maybe on the downtube below the battery? Here is a link to Ancheer replacement controllers: https://www.ancheer.shop/search?type=product&q=controller They typically look like this:

Hi! Eahora arrived damaged. 'Bike Doctor' is scared to touch it.

Was installing the derailuer guard part of your install? It looks like it may not be correctly seated to the frame. On my XC100 it was already installed. If the factory shipped yours installed, maybe they didn't have it on correctly there. Either way, it's a simple fix.

Hi! Eahora arrived damaged. 'Bike Doctor' is scared to touch it.

Why didn't you start this thread by stating what the problem is? You said the bike shop identified the problem, and your picture title is 'bike part bend'. So from that we can surmise that you have a derailuer guard that is pushed in towards the bike. This is a very common issue with eAhora...
