Has anyone ever have this happen to a post? Your text is changed to a hyperlink. see my screenshot below...the word "Portola" has a link to a a website for bike with that name. Are they advertisers on EBR? In an attempt to remove the link, I opened my post but there is no link added to my...

I swapped my winter Vittoria Terreno knobby tires for the smoother Conti Terra Speeds. so this was my first ride. They roll so well. not as fast as my Conti GP5000s but very nice. And I tried a new neighborhood in Portolah Valley today, I expected it as I plotted the route, but a crazy steep...

@Stefan Mikes, looks like a fun ride with your gravel gang. Nice to see your DSLR photos, such a different feel from phone photos with the default focus to infinity. I have been meaning to dust off camera and bring on a ride. I have a mini harness for my micro four thirds that I used on travel only.

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

So funny, I was thinking the same thing!! I know landscape photos are best without vehicles. But it is also nice to the flavor of an area with traffic and people. I am guilty of waiting for vehicles to pass when taking photos which include the road.

    Signs of Spring

Specialized S-Works Aethos 2 is the lightest production road frame in the world ... Frame Weight: 595g/1.3lb (56cm), Bike weight is 13lb 3oz., so add pedals and water bottles. So I can see how it can be lifted with one finger. I would love to ride one! But, for fun, I just lifted my Ibis Hakka...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

I have no clue Jeremy, but I had 4x stream crossing on a recent ride. Therefore I had something going on with my wheels/hubs, so cleaned them out. the squeak was still there. Hoping it was not my Bottom Bracket! So, not audible in the bike stand prior after my cleaning, I heard it from the rear...

    Signs of Spring

Just back from a ride on my non-eBike. My phone weather app says 88° now, my Garmin said 96° on the ride, while stopped in the shade. I don't trust the 1040 so much though, but I see the deltas in temps. It is toasty. Just have to keep moving!

Bike RADAR - for other bikes

6zfshdb said: Can you turn off the light completely on the RTL515 to save battery? The RVR 315, radar only, without the light, battery life is up to 7 hours. This is less than the RTL 515...see my notes on the RTL 515 which I gathered over the years. And "Individual" is a mode that is...

Great SF ride and pics @mschwett ! Funny to see the Arsicault Bakery line. I've heard about it. I don't do lines like that. I was lucky when a friend brought croissants to a gathering a while ago; so I see they are still popular! When I arrived in SF from NYS 35yrs ago, the first apartment I...

I am absolutely afraid of bees. But I'm also mesmerized by their behavior. Where are you located?

High 70s in San Jose today. I rode with a friend over to Calero Park and did a loop, on my Creo. Even with the sunny warm weather, we hit some spots of mud and we did two stream crossings. So the bikes got a bit dirty. Had to dismount once for a mid-trail cow. 26 miles and 1500ft...50/50 road...

Thanks for the lesson on land access in the UK. Really interesting! I rode a bridleway back in 2000s on a MTB bike loaned to me. the brake levers were reversed and that was a surprise, since I was not informed. no crash though. but almost! That was near Bracknell.

That is wild that you can ride through private properties! How long was that ride? it looks like half a day Bummer about the chain, you need to get that drivetrain sorted!

Yes, with the seat in a lower position, with the KS eTen, when you press the lever upward, the seat will extend until either the lever is released or it tops out or hits a resistance (your butt). While riding, you need to unweight the seat by standing on the pedals just long enough for the...

The 'How To Use A Dropper Post On The Trail' video is great, and while I have 5% of his ability, it shows how and when I use my dropper on my MTBs and to a lesser extent on my Creo. Jeremy, the under seat lever type of dropper is a different application you obviously need to take one hand off...

I forgot to comment on this...but this experienced ebike group probably has covered this many times. I came across a technique which allows you to pedal backwards to in order to use something like a chain cleaning device (which I use regularly): Just align the crank arm to one of the spider...
