I get that leakage when I was using CO2. I thought it was because of winter, as that’s the only time I need it. But it was the co-2 once I went with the electric pump, it stopped being an issue. Even though my sealant is rated for co-2 and I would replace it when I got home.

you only get the max amount of torque when you really push the bike hard. like on the 4th gen bosch motor I had to go past 450 watts to get the most of the motor's power. so unless you're pushing really hard you may not evder notice the extra.

ya I tried it once adding sealant before seating the tire what a pain. its better on bigger tires.

One easy way to see how well a tire will seat is if the bead sits on the center of the rim, it will be hard. I have some Schwalbe tires that the bead is as wide or wider than the tire, and it seals with just a regular pump, but it makes it harder to get on as the first side likes to come off...

does it have the usual quick release or a through axle? Kinda looks like a through axle so thats usually 12mm or 15mm. a pic would help.

was that before or after you tried to tape everything but the kitchen sink?? :D I swear you almost had the tape on the outside of the rim. sometimes really are shaped wrong to seal easily. I have a couple I could do it with just my mouth I swear.

Most of my tires I can get seated with just my Makita inflator. You can also use co-2 or get one of those bottles you pump up and then use. Or a tube.
