I have a Radster road wait for my broken foot to heal, purchased 3 days before my misstep . I have been purchasing accessories to keep me busy. Mirror, panniers, additional batteries, Kinetic seat post, additional charger, waxed it …maybe new grips
I would like to ride the chain version to better test just the motors . Low cadence similar maybe even easier to pedal . I can almost ghost pedal with the Specialized at slow speeds but when pushing the bike it feels less powerful. I have thoughts that this could be in the torque sensor...
I find it hard to keep it at 24 or 25 mph unless slight down hill, I don’t with my Trek with Bosch on the same path. It is a comfy ride though just not as fast as others. the Trek has a chain this is the auto hub , not quite apples to apples. The power below this seems to be there just too hard...
I have the same year also .i had slipping I replaced the rear 24 tooth cog with a 22 which is the standard now. Still slipping, prob. Worse. They replaced the hub, started slipping 3 rides later . My bike started having electronic issue like the plus button was being pushed while riding and the...
I used to live near DC and have many trips on the Blue Ridge , not sure I would feel safe there , most of the time OK but too many 1 time mistakes by drivers scare me. Skyline drive is worse and wouldn’t even considerate riding on that unless the road was closed for autos , happens occasionally...
1st let me give an update after having the bike for a week and receiving the 2 batterries. It still has 2 miles on the odometer from them testing and then my 1 mile ride around inside their large sells floor test area.
i cant ride the damn thing , I broke my foot Saturday! :) I am in a walking...
I have a large w/o chain. I am 6ft even with avg arm length. I am not a particularly picky person on fit, having 4 different brands and styles of e-bikes and will ride anywhere from 60-100 miles on any of them every other day. It is probably the most comfortable ride of the bikes.
my one point...
Thx for the replies. i will have 3 batteries for the Rad I would like 2 chargers at least, of course 1 came with the bike. the 2 additional batteries I hope are arriving today. They are rad branded from eBay hopefully and expected legit. If the Lectric chargers I already have are acceptable then...
Not much Rad here, oh well I will proceed as usual.
i have purchased the Road. It is ready for pickup. I am purchased 2 batteries from eBAY. I was going to purchase an additional charger but wanted to ask opinions or better factual knowledge of how many amps these batteries can handle charging...
I paid for the bike yesterday from Conte Bikes. Ordered a 2nd charger and battery and waiting to see if I need a 3rd battery . i will be adding a mirror, suspension seat post and maybe some different grips. Hope to pick it up early next week
there is not a lot activity on this site with Rad ...
I have had 3 wattwagons , when running they were fine .ll1 is gone and I would take very little for the other 2 I have. pretty much planning on buying a Radster Road . maybe this week . Hope to test it a little more if available in stock. I did ride it around their store.
I don’t believe A...
Looked at Surface, not class 3 and not a local dealer. The sensor in the drop out was (is?) what my fav Stromer used though. I like the idea of added power going up hill
