Wired Cruiser - monster truck of ebikes.

Thanks for the info on the throttle twist. That is one thing that I definitely need to adjust to, especially in making a slow speed turn!

I've noticed the high speed runs will really suck the juice. Think I looked for the Big boats and couldn't find any, I was looking for a smooth tread anyway, not a lot out there. You guys have the throttle delay? That is a killer, especially with a motorcycle in the stable.

Roger that. I thought about the tire spinning on the rim but hadn't considered the tube. Think I'll up the pressure and see what happens.

What are you guys using for psi for the 4" tires? Wired recommends 28-30 psi. I am down to 18 psi and think that is in the neighborhood. And I don't know if this is related to the lower psi, around turns the tires feel kind of squirrelly, might that be related to the lower psi or the knobs on...

Wired Cruiser - monster truck of ebikes.

The Warrior does have the RST Guide front forks, it is spring suspension with preload and damper adjustment with lockout, the rear is air shock. The Predator is supposed to have the air front forks with 150mm of travel. I don't see the spring as being much of anything to write home about, the...

I didn't figure it for a single track rig, today I took it across the face of the dam and down some dirt trails. It has the power but just wasn't designed for that kind of stuff. The tires bounce like basketballs, the shocks are not the greatest, the derailleur needs a stronger spring to keep...

Wired Cruiser - monster truck of ebikes.

Wired Warrior showed up today. These things are made for stout. For the price of these and what you get, it's like crazy. Something like this made in the US could be in twice the price range easily. They are heavy, each battery weighs 20#, the hub motor is 10#, the aluminum bracing is like...

    Offset Saddle Adapter

That would work good for the cane creek suspension seat posts that have a tendency to move the seat back when it is compressed.

Calipers That Will Not Adjust Straight

Forget shoe goo, it may look good initially but eventually will let go. Looks to me like a job for some rivnuts but I can't tell how your downtube is set up. Maybe have to put a piece in the tool bag for reinforcement, something plastic that would conform to the curve.

    Maybe something like this.

    Recumbent E-bikes

Your knees would be bent getting on and off, otherwise similar to a std bike. How are your knees?

    Recumbent E-bikes

It can be a good idea. Reason I have the Catrike is my back was giving my problems. Since I have exercised and am able to ride anything. I had a Cruzbike for a little while that I would not suggest. The crank pivoting with the steering is pretty wonky. You have to learn to pull and push the...

    Recumbent E-bikes

That model pictured looks pretty good, what model is it? I have a catrike expedition that would make a good candidate for pas.

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Changed the pads on the Como today. 3k miles and about 50% used on the oem pads. Keeps the pistons from moving too far out of the caliper and and have a set of used pads if needed, rather than a set of new pads on standby and waiting till the disc gets chewed or the pads getting too far...

That one sounds kind of serious.

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I just went on a grocery run with the Como. I was curious and throwing caution out the window, took my hands off the handlebars. It proceeded to do the wobble as I was pedaling and it was under assist. I reached down, between my legs, and moved the seat back. No, that was a song. I bent...

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

Jeez. And to think with my first 10 spd 50 yrs ago I could ride pretty much around the block without hands. Probably when common sense dictated bike geometry.

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

.25" I wouldn't think would be much of a difference. May have to do with weight distribution. Think of a shopping cart with one wheel on the front that holding less weight or skips across the floor, it tends to wobble.

Specialized Turbo Vado/Como/Tero/Tero X User Club

I and others have noticed that also. Not enough caster or rake or trail, whichever term means the most to you. I don’t think my Vado is as bad, more weight on the front tire with the shocks probably helps.

Wired Cruiser - monster truck of ebikes.

I ordered the Predator. See how this experience goes. For the motors I think they are straight cut gears, they are going to be noisier than helical cut, but straight cut are stronger and don't take as much horsepower and make as much heat. The bike looks like what I have been wanting but...
