I think the Cheetahs geometry is quite unique, the front end has alot of Rake and is going to give the ride a certain feel and the road tires are making alot more contact than the knobbies. My road tires feel good on pavement just hoping traction is good enough in the dirt.

I go at it slowly dealing with the chain and de-railer makes it a little slower compared to the front but only takes a few extra minutes

I haven’t noticed any ill effects I’m not an expert so who knows. My full suspension fat bike is something I just ride dirt roads with and some trails not much pavement and when I use the (post) I only notice a different soft while handling perfectly. Cheers

Well I do frequently. I have it and I use when my wife isn’t, just makes the ride even softer. There are no rules.
