I got in contact with Stromer and they are sending me a spacer. In the meantime, after a trip to Lowe's, a stack of washers seemed to work ok... provided that they didn't rotate with the real wheel rotating. It took a little experimenting.

Were you able to find a spacer for between the freewheel and frame? I changed my tube yesterday and lost the stock spacer. I need some sort of replacement. I was going to go to a big box store to find some sort of replacement. Thanks.

Your ST1t has the Schlumpf drive right? With a 30 tooth chainring? Isn't there a button on the side of the crank that increases the gear ratio? Which should increase the ratio to something more like a 45 tooth chainring. A 45 on the front with 11 on the back at 30mph is slightly over 90 cadence...

Each of the 4 points of the two rails of the snap-it adapter rotate in or out depending on how wide your racktime rack is. This is not done easily. It does not require tools, but it feels as though you are going to break it. I've never had to touch it since adjusting it from wide to narrow. See...

When I received my bike a few months ago, I couldn't read the display despite playing with the contrast code. Call your dealer. Mine replaced the display unit. New unit works fine.

The New York U-lock that I bought comes with a quick release holder. Same setup should work with a comfort frame. It does not interfere with my pedal stroke. Haven't had to adjust it since I mounted it.

Does anyone have any experience with an ST-1 riding in the rain? I suppose I'm looking for disaster stories. I don't plan on riding in heavy downpours, but if I do get caught in the rain. I would like to know if the ST-1 is sound and not susceptible to electrical damage. Thanks.
