Do you think that the WiFi not being connected is part or all of the problem?

ATT Air WiFi. I just got it a few weeks ago, supposedly an upgrade.

I just upgraded to the ATT Air WiFi and it’s been a pain for older, simpler devices. The 5G light is lit on the router, but the 4g light is not illuminated.

Yes my IPhone 17 is connected to my home WiFi. Yes the trainer is paired to Bluetooth on my phone and is showing Connected. Yes the Wahoo app with Kicker sees the WiFi but won’t connect after numerous tries.

One more question. It looks like it requires 4G Wifi. I have 5G in my house. I can’t get the trainer to connect to WiFi, could this be why?

Tried that, no change. This version comes with two “ remotes” that strap onto your handlebars. Those are used for shifting gears, I think.

Yes, but without the cassette on it. It has a small orange hub in place of the cassette. The orange hub only has one sprocket on it.

I got into the app and the ERG mode ws ON. I turned it off and there’s no change to the hard pedaling.

Checking… I got the newest version #2 and instead of a cassette it uses an orange hub with one sprocket on it.

I’m using my Creo 1 on it, so I’ve only got one chairing. There is no cassette, so no way to change the gears with the shifters on the bike. Yes it’s too hard to get started riding and keep pedaling. No the drum is not touching anything. Yes the weighted drum spins by hand, with no scraping...

I just tried unplugging it and it’s still very hard to pedal. There must be a way to shift it into a lower gear, but I’m not figuring out how.

Thanks for your response. It pedals very smoothly, without any noise, clicking or scraping. It’s just very hard to pedal, like it’s in a very tall gear, on a hill. I bought the one with the orange cog, so I don’t have a cassette on it. Any other thoughts? The Customer Service line doesn't...

UPDATE I bought it and brought it home this afternoon. Spent about an hour setting it up and trying to figure out how to just ride it. It’s very hard to pedal, I must have done something wrong during the setup. Too tired now, will try again tomorrow

Morning Stephan, how’s the snow in Poland? brrrrrr… Apparently it does. There is a spacer kit so numerous bikes will fit. We’re taking my Creo 1 and my wife’s Creo 2 to the Specialized LBS tomorrow when the Kickr Core 2 arrives, to make sure both bikes will fit. I’ll keep you posted.
