Decided to run my ebikes on solar

I'm not allowed to have a clothesline as I live in a historic district, but screw them.

That's a great looking setup, but I don't want that much sweep, it would reduce the reach significantly, and I'd have to have them milled.

Bends and drop ends. Multiple forearm options. Flat bars have nothing to rest on, unless you set up bar ends to do so. No bar ends for me, I don't like the wide stance or increased reach. I cut my bars down to 670mm and even that is too wide. I would prefer more sweep, but the TICR internal...

They're a bit more expensive. Both are in short supply from Shimano, with more stock due early next month. You should be able to use your Tektro levers with the Shimano calipers if you use the smaller 5mm Shimano BH90 brake hose, barbs, and olives. Both use mineral oil. If you want to ensure...

    Weird Specialized discovery....

I think what I miss the most is having four or five different hand and forearm positions that go with drop bars and aren't there with flat bars. I don't miss the pain. I'm having a procedure done at the end of next month that might help things, but I don't expect that it will fix everything.

I'll give you retail price, because I don't pay retail. My Pinarello is set up just like your Specialized, with flat mount brakes front and rear. I wanted XTR levers, which meant switching to LV oil. M9200 XTR XC levers $230 M9200 XTR post mount front caliper with metallic pads $170 TRP post...

Cannondale blew out a ton of System 2 bikes at 50% off. They were all sold. Merida has a huge financial stake in Specialized. They make frames for other brands as well. I expect further dilution down the road. I ride S-Works road shoes and an S-Works helmet, because they fit me and are good...

Take it to any Bosch e-bike dealer and have them run the diagnostic and update the motor, battery, and controller firmware before you do anything else.

If you missed the circuit race portion of Stage 7 of Catalunya, find a way to watch it. It was outstanding, exciting racing for every loop of the circuit. Brady Gilmore breaks his losing streak and wins by a wheel over Godon, but the best action was between Remco and Jonas. Red Bull was on a...

The Y1RS shown above is a custom assembled bike. You choose the frame size and color (some have upcharges). Then you choose the components. Pricing can vary by thousands of dollars depending on what you choose. You can absolutely get one for less than this. 😝

Remco following team orders? I would like to see that actually happening. Carapaz is a smart, crafty rider who I believe is still able to win a stage in a Grand Tour, but not the whole thing. He is a joy to watch. Old school. I don't remember him ever staring at his computer. Pog vs. Jonas, I...

I don't think Pidcock descends any more dangerously than any other highly skilled descender. It goes with the territory. However, I found it interesting that it was a lapse in judgement, much like Remco's crash, that caused the issue. Remco was switching hand positions right before a hard turn...
