    How would you do it?

SW The trouble with a 2 wheeled trailer is the width of the wheels, which average 24" to 30" wide, on an 18" wide Trail? One side or the other is going to be hung up or bouncing over rocks/sage brush all the time. If I had trails that were 24" to 36" wide, I would go with a smaller 2 wheeled...

    How would you do it?

TT I have had plenty of flats, until I started using Flat Out and HD tubes, that combo seems to solved those problems..........I hope, I also have HD new tires that will be put on this yr, just before hunting season, no use in tempting the clown that likes to throw monkey wrenches in my...

    How would you do it?

TT Thanks, I am not worried about any flat tires, I use Flat Out/HD tubes and always carry a pump, over 3900, (on OEM tires) so far and no flats, 95% of the riding has been cross country trail riding, everything I own has Flat Out in the tires. Tia

    How would you do it?

TT Thanks, That question about brakes was brought up, and some of the results were...... IMHO, I feel I should have brakes on the trailer. I thought of installing Hydro brakes, a complete different separate system that controls the trailer only, and be able to remove (un attach) the front brake...

Run for Thank you, Since I don't have the trailers in hand yet, I am unable to provide any valued information, for you. The wheels on the trailer are permanent in their location, the only adjustments possible will be the locations of where the load is carried in the trailer, center, forward...

    How would you do it?

Guys/OTG Since I know nothing about using this type of trailer, I plan on doing a scale check using the OEM 1 rear wheel, check everything, then add the second rear wheel, test the same way, and see the difference, between the two. I have a feeling that the direct location of the load, will...

    How would you do it?

Guys If you were figuring out the tongue weight of a Single wheel cargo bike trailer, like this one, How could you do it? The only way I can see, is to make a stake to hold the tongue at the approximate height/location as when attached to the bike, set the stake on a scale's center, then add...

I now have to change out..........

Well guys I have changed out the shift sensor, took me about an hour, pulled the left side motor plate cover which exposed all the bikes wiring, took me a few minutes to find the correct plug to plug the new SS into, then gently stuffed all the wiring back on top of the motor housing, very...

I now have to change out..........

Now, I have to change out the shift sensor on the Jugg 4 bike, I don't know how the top chain got flipped up on the top of the main shift sensor wire, (I had just finished riding thru a heavy patch of sage brush really crowded the trail), as a result the chain cut thru the shifter wire. The...

    Revamping a bike trailer?

Thanks Stomp I am basically just adding a second separate Suspension wheel to the rear of the trailer, wheels to be mounted far enough apart, but staying inside the trailers frames width, to fit on single track trails. And each wheel has it's own suspension/axle,, to better support the load...

    Revamping a bike trailer?

And to add some more info, after looking at the 3 other brands of single wheel trailers, I have access too, I think I can mount the extra wheels, without any welding, just by using 4 -1/4- "U" bolts per suspension plate. I just have to find the correct size on the mounting inside width of the...

    Revamping a bike trailer?

Stomp Sorry, I was speed reading your reply, and missed your question. Yes, both of my bike use brake cutoff's. My plan? was to add another brake to handle just the trailer, completely separate from the bikes brakes. Which I don't know if that will work? and if I should have brakes on both rear...

    Revamping a bike trailer?

Stomp This will be used for hauling heavy loads of game/gear off the Mtn, with steep grades coming down hill, loads can be around 200# + the bikes/my weight = 300#'s =, so I believe that I should have/need good HD rear trailer brakes, to help the Wart Hogs brakes, in controlling these descents...
