Decided to run my ebikes on solar

My home system is set up so I decided to add a couple folding panels to try since my power station has two solar input jacks. I will use the extra panels when needed.

Only because the power station is at 100% and the solar coming in would be wasted may as well suck some out with the dryer lol By the way it is interesting to watch the washer's power use. Highest about 700 watts when first starting the spin cycle lowest when filling about 20 watts for the...

Decided to run my ebikes on solar

So change of plans since the Anker arrived I have given my old inverters and charge controller to my son along with the two 100 ah AGM batteries. Also I ordered two 100 watt panels for him. The unit runs the 240v dryer just fine but over 5000 watts sucks down the battery post haste so I won't be...

Decided to run my ebikes on solar

I had to change the battery connection wires to 10 awg as the smaller wires got hot over 10 amps. Ordered some disconnect breakers. So I can switch input from the Anker to the Renogy as needed without having to move plugs.

Decided to run my ebikes on solar

So again I jumped to the wrong conclusion. My old controller is fine it simply was a blown 7.5 amp fuse in the connection to the battery. duh lol Anyway I upgraded to the Renology anyway and now have a 20 amp fuse. I like how the Renology adjusts output with varying loads and has features to...

Decided to run my ebikes on solar

Well my 30amp controller (thought is was only 20 earlier) died last night. Opened it up and nothing looked burnt now my panels are hooked to nothing and I don't like using the grid anymore. Go figure. I have not been using the dryer the past couple days and just hang clothes inside. Hope FadEx...

Today charged 3 lawn batteries, made coffee, plus two loads of clothes washed. Hooked my washer up to my other backup inverters which I have rarely used before. One is 10,000 watts, (which I doubt} the other 2,000 watts running now. I did one wash with each while the battery charger is putting...
