The Future of eBikes: How Fast is Too Fast?

I have two class 3 e-bikes and I like the ability to exceed 20 mph when the conditions are favorable. That said, I always use common (or is it uncommon) sense, and keep my speed at 15 mph or less on mup’s and other congested areas. When traveling along roadways I’ll push it up to 18-22 mph...

Welcome 6bloodychunk, glad that you found a fun way to use your bike while getting out for some exercise. My parents were born and raised in the Irwin, Shafton area and spent the 20’s, 30’s and 1940’s there.

    Hello from Tucson!

Welcome Rob. Is that Canyon the model with the Bosch sx motor? If so, what are your thoughts on it so far. I have vacationed in the Oro Valley and ridden the loop trail on rented e bikes in the past, nice place to ride in the fall, winter and spring.

    Hello From Melbourne Australia

Those magpies down under must be some crazy subspecies, we have them up here as well but I’ve never heard of them attacking people, though they would mess with my cat when I let him out. The only birds that we have that will attack bikers are arctic terns and great horned owls, both of those...

    Hi gang!

When I first started to look into and research e bikes about five years ago and I saw the acronym PAS I thought they were using it to describe low quality direct to consumer bikes that had histories of electrical and mechanical problems referring to them as Piece a S..t

When will Vado SL 4.0(or 5.0) upgrate in 2025

Specialized did run a 50% off deal for one week in November on the Vado SL 4.0 and 5.0 on the U.S. website. 4.0 at $1750 and 5.0 at $2250, non eq versions. My internet finger was twitching and about to hit the buy button on the 5.0, but I knew my wife would skin me alive and tack my hide to the...

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Pathetic + ??? I don’t think so Jeremy! I would rate your ride at Animal+ That distance and elevation gain in that timeframe at your age, pure animal status in my book. i would give my left one to be able to maintain 168 watts on a ride that long.

Welcome Lee & Debbie, I just picked up a Creo 2 a few weeks before the snows came, almost dialed in, but only put 150 miles on it. The Creo sure is smooth and is a joy to ride compared to the 54 pound bike that I've had for years. I ordered a Vado SL 4.0 at the same time for my wife, she loves...
