its indeed a brake surface reamer, it's made for Postmount interfaces. with the flat rings, springs and a longer bolt it also works just fine on IS-tabs. its called Shuriken

we use on the Vado SL's a Sigma rocks 4.0 with roughly the same basic navigation it shows the route and the next turn, it will beep when you need to turn, the re-routing is fast (the app must be running on the phone) and the computer is compatible with the Mahle DU for e-bike connection...

Its an older tool, designed and made by Marten Gerritsen, a bike builder from Kiel-Winderweer. Currently with the newer bikes I also carry a version from Unior which is better compatible with the TA rearwheels when I am riding with more modern bikes.

I know, this type of lever works a bit different, it takes over the torque sensor input so you actually have a "throttle" for a few seconds

We had them in the past on a few models. Boost levers we called them, so you would have 10 or 15 seconds max support to either overtake another rider on a hill, use it for hillstarts of fly off at the trafic lights. Current top 3 systems in the EU do not support those.
