Actually, the warranty most likely would cover that. I have a carbon Sirrus X5 with a kickstand that has tipped over once and suffered no damage.

With the weight increase, and I assume an even larger increase for the upcoming alloy models, it does make sense to at least consider the full power models instead. That said, the more I see of the new SL 2 the more interested I get. I really dig this bike but will likely wait for the alloy models.

According to the US site the regular 6.0 has the 3.2 Future Shock

I believe the weight of the size large in the video was around 41-43lbs.

Here’s a review of the new Vado Sl 6 1.2 with a carbon frame.

The main difference is the drivetrain using the Shimano CUES instead of the Sram. I don't know if the CUES is an upgrade or not.

I'm pretty sure there will be one. I think they're waiting until stock gets a bit lower on the current model.

I weighed my Tero X5 with the large frame, with Rock Bros pedals that aren’t particularly light, and a water bottle cage. It also has the original tires with tubes. I used a very nice digital fish scale and hung the bike from the scale which was attached to a shelf bracket. The weight is 60.82...

I’ll weigh my X5 later with the battery. On the US site I believe they list the X6 in a medium frame at 58lbs.

Hard to say what's true. The dealer I talked to said he had a meeting yesterday with the inside rep who told him. They ordered 5 bikes. We'll see but I won't be surprised if it's the 1.1 but it doesn't make any sense from a manufacturing standpoint to offer both motors.

A Specialized dealer told me today that the Vado SL with the 1.2 is due very soon, likely in September.

That’s what I figured but was hoping I was wrong.

Any word on if/when Specialized is coming out with the SL using the 1.2 motor? I’m ready to buy one when available.

That’s weird. On their site Specialized is saying the aluminum Creo will be available in August. I didn’t any of the aluminum Creo’s have been released yet, but I could be wrong.

I'm planning to buy a Creo 2 in aluminum when available, primarily for road riding only. I considered a Roubaix, still might get one, but I do like my electric assist when needed.
