Hi Everyone, I'm just posting another picture of my Como 3 with Brooks B67 saddle, Kinekt 2.1 suspension seatpost, Specialized Roll rack, Timber bell.

BodyFloat / Specialized Turbo X - Seat Post Drilling for rear light wire

This is a picture of the new version Kinekt 2.1, disassembled, showing the white wire where I drilled a hole to thread it through.

BodyFloat / Specialized Turbo X - Seat Post Drilling for rear light wire

I called the people at Cirrus Cycles today and was told that the Kinekt 2.1 can be drilled for the wire in a similar place as the Version 2.0 described in this thread. So that's what I'll be doing to my girlfriend's and my new Kinekt posts. Love their smooth ride.

    Specialized Turbo Como 3.0

My girlfriend ordered a Como 3.0 Step Thru on Monday and our bike shop said it should come in June 25th, in three weeks. When I got my 3.0 Como two months ago, I had it within one week. So either they are selling well or they didn't make very many. We shopped around quite a bit and the Como...

    Specialized Turbo Como 3.0

And I see the Vado 3.0 is back down to a 40 tooth, same as Como. I have a Como 3.0 and I agree it's fine at 22-24 mph. The long wheelbase, relaxed rake of the fork and wider tires lend a stable feel at speed. But the more upright cruiser style of the Como is not designed for speed like the...

    Specialized Turbo Como 3.0

jhorrick, I agree that your bike shop should be more responsive after giving them thousands of dollars. One of the big reasons I didn't buy one of those 900 dollars bikes off Amazon. I thought; this is a new product category, electric bikes, so I better buy it from a top shop and top brand so...

    Specialized Turbo Como 3.0

The original seat is probably just fine, but at 61 and having not ridden in decades, I fairly quickly switched it out for an instantly plush Brooks B67 saddle and Kinekt sprung seatpost. Probably overkill, but I have zero attention on that area of my body now, so I'd say: success. , Before the...

    Specialized Turbo Como 3.0

Very useful information here. As the original poster here, I'll chime in and say, that my Como 3.0 has not had any surging, I wonder how common it is. My bike has 350 miles on it, mostly 10 miles a ride and I just love it. It feels sturdy, smooth, and after two months I am still so excited...

BodyFloat / Specialized Turbo X - Seat Post Drilling for rear light wire

Oh, I didn't know the new revised version, Kinekt 2.1, couldn't be drilled at the mechanism. I just installed the new seatpost on my Specialized Como, I ran the wire from the bottom of the motor, along the out side of the seat tube and it looks tacky. I was hoping to follow these...

    Specialized Turbo Como 3.0

It appears that the Kinect/bodyfloat, for seatpost, latest version, is the marginally supreme choice for smoothness and visual appearance, at the premium price of course! If you don't feel comfortable rewiring the rear light, I'm sure your bike shop will do it. It's such a convenience to have...

    Specialized Turbo Como 3.0

I ordered mine from the bike shop also, I test rode the 2.0, but wanted the added speed of the 3.0. The rear light; to move it, I unscrewed the light from its bracket and zip tied it to the new location. This Brooks seat is so much softer than the original. I cut the wire and spliced another...

First Ebike, want a mid drive with a throttle?

I did not know mid drives had throttles. I wonder why i only see them on hub. My Specialized Como has mid drive and on the highest help setting on level ground, you're just moving your legs anyway, there's no effort.

I'm very happy with my new bike. At around 200 miles so far, it has been perfect.
