Thanks but I understand the effect on mileage. Do you think it would increase (albeit modestly) or decease the chance of flat tires or have no effect at all?

Does anybody know what the permissible tire pressure range is? Any opinions on what effect reducing pressure to the minimum has on the chance of flats? Would it increase/decrease or have no effect on likelihood of flats?

Kevcentral reviewing the Onway. At around 3:10 he talks about the suspension fork. Yup, I think I could learn to like icing cupcakes. Imo this review shines a good light on the Lectric since it's obvious he still prefers the Lectric even though this cheaper bike has some good features.

Well hold on just a sec. Interferring with the Darwin Awards is serious business. There's no telling what dark forces might be unleashed that humanity will have to deal with down the road.

    Where's My XP?

Not to put too fine a point on it, but customers take shipped to mean in transit to their location, not from Lectric to some intermediary that sits on them for a week or two.

I think the trick is to make sure the warnings get enough likes or 5 star reviews.

HD and Lowes sell perforated rubber shelf-liner that comes in a 12" roll. It's not very thick but it cuts easily and you can double or triple it. It might work and it's handy stuff to have on hand.

    Where's My XP?

I can't be the only one that's gotten tired of waiting and checked out other bikes on youtube. Well, to be more precise, I can't see where another startup company's bike would make sense. Lectric has shipping and communication problems but at least they're friendly and they show integrity when...

Hey this is exciting, like a football game. First one side pulls into the lead and then the other. In an effort to swing the momentum back I'd just like to say... I like paragraphs. My eyeballs work hard enough and need a break now and then.

Nicely done Mr poorplayer! Now people like me that want to know wtf (where-the-freak) their bike is at don't have to make the people that already have theirs buggy. And as everyone knows, the world doesn't need more buggy.

Tommy - just copy the address from the address bar while in youtube and paste into your post like any other text. Forum oddness though - the first time I tried that it didn't work. I tried a few days later and it did.

This is depressing. A rear tire flat isn't fixable on the road and it isn't possible to walk the bike home with a flat? That could prove to be interesting if one were exploring a forest trail somewhere and gets a flat miles from camp. Can't carry it back.

When choosing a lock, are people keeping in mind that these bikes say LECTRIC on the side in big bold letters? Lectric as in electric bike as in $. A $20 or $30 lock will last about 3 seconds when attacked with boltcutters. Goodbye bike. Goodbye accessories. Goodbye way-to-get-home. Spend...

An interesting twist on the whole locking up wheels thing is skewers or Hexlox. Not cheap but so much easier every time you stop somewhere. http://thebestbikelock.com/wheel-locks-and-seat-locks/

There's no problem in a camper. It's just like the electric on Green Acres. You can't exceed 7. My electric tea kettle that I use to make coffee is a 6. And the electric heating element in the hot water heater is a 3. But that's ok because I don't really need hot water until later in the...
