One thing I have noted in these heavy prairie winds: There's a whistle somewhere on the bike. At first I thought it was from the motor, but no. Removed the rear wheel reflector, and still no. seems my search continues. No such noise whatsoever in low wind. Not a big deal, I'll find it eventually.

Mine arrived today. I could not be more pleased! Thanks to the team for a great bike...and just in time for the long weekend. I will also be testing range: but that's because "ultramile-ing" is totally my thing...the best rides are long rides, I find.

The news around Biktrix stolen shipping container claimed the frames were unique to them, so it surprised me. Clearly not so unique as claimed. I personally don't understand the draw of FS and don't care for it myself -- at all. I also don't ride single track, so don't have the use case.

That frame sure looks startlingly familiar...Biktrix here in Saskatoon just released a model like that.

I'm likely to be swapping a number of parts like bars/stem/saddle, TBH. My hope when it arrives is to get a professional bike fitting done after probably the first 1000km. I never get it just right myself, and folks I know have said it's money well-spent.

Agreed!! The anticipation is intense! Gonna be a most excellent day when it arrives. Might wear out the F5 button before long, though. Hitting Refresh makes it happen faster, right? :P

Is the whine a fan-like noise from the charger? Haven't gotten mine yet, but I've ridden quite a few from other companies...chargers can/do make a high pitched whine with the wee fan inside the charger(when there is one). Of course I'm speculating with zero hands on-- Ravi and the gang would be...
