Your experiences with the new Mahle MySmartBike app (replacement for Ebikemotion)

Veteran, have you felt the drag in the rear hub when you are not using assistance? I would like to see if the new X20 system eliminate it. My ideal rear hub motor must be running as free as a standard no motor hub. I do not know if it possible.

Your experiences with the new Mahle MySmartBike app (replacement for Ebikemotion)

Agree with that MySmartBike app is not good and friendly as others, but X35 system is by far the best rear hub ecosystem today. I have more than 3000km using it and no problems at all. Just avoid the app and use a standard device like Hammerhead Karoo or Garmin .

Check if your HR sensor is paired using Ant+ or BT. There should be a link conflict.. As far as I understand PulsarOne is linked to internal Mahle controler using Ant+LEV protocol. Your HR monitor ( pulsometer) or any other sensor must be paired to PulsarOne device in order to add sensors data...

Your experiences with the new Mahle MySmartBike app (replacement for Ebikemotion)

Veteran, Nice to see you recorded a complete ride. I came to the conclusion that once the application is running and I have put the phone in my pocket, I should not touch it at all until the end of the tour. I use small Orbea( like PulsarOne) device for Level assistances switching, I never use...

Hi Plan Bee, There has to be a way to sense the pedaling to activate the motor when the assist is on. What I can't say is if the internal RPM reading (not the rider's cadence) is part of the motor control algorithm (probably it is). The truth is that when you use the assistance and you reach...

Something similar happened to me once. In the middle of the tour I stop to take some photos and have a coffee. After a few minutes the ebike turned off the assistance system, then when I continued with the trip I did not realize that I had to activate the app again. When I got home I only had a...

hi ngg, Thanks for your comments. Maybe I wasn't clear enough, but let me say that battery extender should be considered only in very particular cases. In no way am I proposing that the extender is necessary for everyone, nor that it should always be installed on the bike. It is an implement...

This week I have dedicated myself to mechanics. I decided to change the entire Shimano Claris R2000 group set for the Shimano 105 R7000, I have also changed the stock rims and tires for some DTSwissR460 with Continental GT5000 tires. The seat tube was changed to a Thomson Masterpiece and the...
