Wahoo Kickr Core 2 with Zwift

Ahh okay, now it’s making sense. Not sure what I’m going to do yet. I just want it to be easy, it looks like it may not be.

I tried posting a photo, but its saying it’s too large

Tried that, no change. This version comes with two “ remotes” that strap onto your handlebars. Those are used for shifting gears, I think.

Yes, but without the cassette on it. It has a small orange hub in place of the cassette. The orange hub only has one sprocket on it.

I got into the app and the ERG mode ws ON. I turned it off and there’s no change to the hard pedaling.

Checking… I got the newest version #2 and instead of a cassette it uses an orange hub with one sprocket on it.

Wahoo Kickr Core 2 with Zwift

I’m using my Creo 1 on it, so I’ve only got one chairing. There is no cassette, so no way to change the gears with the shifters on the bike. Yes it’s too hard to get started riding and keep pedaling. No the drum is not touching anything. Yes the weighted drum spins by hand, with no scraping...

Wahoo Kickr Core 2 with Zwift

I just tried unplugging it and it’s still very hard to pedal. There must be a way to shift it into a lower gear, but I’m not figuring out how.

Thanks for your response. It pedals very smoothly, without any noise, clicking or scraping. It’s just very hard to pedal, like it’s in a very tall gear, on a hill. I bought the one with the orange cog, so I don’t have a cassette on it. Any other thoughts? The Customer Service line doesn't...

Wahoo Kickr Core 2 with Zwift

UPDATE I bought it and brought it home this afternoon. Spent about an hour setting it up and trying to figure out how to just ride it. It’s very hard to pedal, I must have done something wrong during the setup. Too tired now, will try again tomorrow

Morning Stephan, how’s the snow in Poland? brrrrrr… Apparently it does. There is a spacer kit so numerous bikes will fit. We’re taking my Creo 1 and my wife’s Creo 2 to the Specialized LBS tomorrow when the Kickr Core 2 arrives, to make sure both bikes will fit. I’ll keep you posted.

Wahoo Kickr Core 2 with Zwift

I’m thinking about buying one to use with my Creo 1, with the bike powered off. Anyone have one? I spent most of the day yesterday on YouTube researching it. For $399 I don’t see how it can be a bad thing for the crazy hot summers here in Southern California. I’m going to my LBS tomorrow to...

From Class 2 to Class 1. How "hard" is it to switch?

How about going to your LBS and trying a pedal assist bike? Try riding it in Turbo mode, I think you’ll find that very easy to pedal, even when you are spent and sore.

    Lectric Trike2 750 throttle problem

Another vote for going to several LBS and test riding all the e-bikes they have there. You and your wife should try a Specialized Vado. It’s not a fat tired bike, but I think you will like it. It’s a good all-around e-bike. Kinda lightweight, easy to maneuver and good for the asphalt and...

Light vs regular full suspension ebikes

Who’s paying to swap all the parts over to the new frame? The owner, or Cannondale? Id be cautious of buying a Mtb or Emtb with a carbon frame. I drop and fall with aluminum framed Levo all the time. I’d be freaked out if it was a carbon frame.

Brake Wear Question -- Is it possible...

Buy some new pads, that way you can compare the old ones to the new ones. They are easy to replace. Get the good ones, they last a lot longer.

Death Valley Century Cancelled By Organizers

Hey Jeremy, I’ve been through Death Valley after a storm like this. All the low lying roads get washed away. In the nearby town of Lone Pine, they are expecting 2” of rain tomorrow. All that has to go somewhere, probably thru Death Valley. It was the right call to cancel the event.

Death Valley Century Cancelled By Organizers

The organizers just cancelled the ride due to heavy rain and possible flash flooding. Some friends and I were signed up and looking forward to it. Oh well
