Yes, it did. The original Vado SL 4.0 (up to 2021) was equipped with a 10-speed Shimano drivetrain while it got the 11-speed SRAM NX since MY 2022. Isn't your 5.0 a 12-speed Shimano?

Well, Jeremy, the conventional clamp in my big Vado holds equally well, and I'm not the most lightweight person :)

Currently, whenever I need to remove the seat-post for any reason (for instance to grease the ShockStop springs), I remove the post with the e-bike inverted, so the wedge would rather fall on the floor :)

I don't comment much here, Steve but am a big fan of your project!
