They are cable actuated hydraulic dual piston calipers

So I have added an air shock and some cable actuated hydraulic calipers to all the other stuff and am happy with the final result.

Best price I found on eBay for the pair https://www.ebay.com/itm/317661055640 Easy brake install using stock 5mm screws and four spacers in stock positions two above and two below each screw. Initial test ride found them solid feeling, secure braking and silent.

The video explains all the reasons why they use the belt vs hub motor...much more torque and less wheel weight for better suspension operation also regen to recharge battery improves range.

I don't think so being aluminum tube and magnesium casting with 24" wheels should not be that heavy.

Aluminum with cast magnesium motor case. I like the belt and regen but 24" wheel size, too much tech between pedal by wire means no go if motor fails no way to limp home with pedal power.

Arrived and assembled. Nice bike but the display is not bright enough to see in daylight. Used jigsaw to cut up the packing box, why didn't I think of it before lol so quick and easy.

So after further testing I do not recommend this center stand for the M1 nor M2 and have removed it from my bike. It is much easier to use the stock side stand so save your money.

So I decided to make a better looking and more secure upper plate... ready for paint now it is green
