The upgrade kits only comprise of the derailleur, the controller and a battery charger. I didn't think there was any special requirement for a XX1 cassette?

What a curious bike. They added a carbon frame and SL 1.2 as many asked and then completely negated the benefits with a heavier battery and fat trekking tires.

Did you ever explore the possibility of keeping the system charged via the bikes battery? Also, I am assuming the upgrade did not affect the warranty? 🤔

I have to say I am super impressed with the Pathfinder Pro 42 in a tubeless configuration - an essential upgrade for Vado SL owners in my opinion. I used to avoid drain covers previously, now I ride straight over them 😄

These do seem to be the neatest solution. I can install one of these against the wall that I park the bike. The heater would be very close to the bike frame and hopefully put out just enough heat to take the chill off the immediate area.

I ride my bike at least once a day, sometimes two or three as it is my primary mode of transport - this will continue over winter. Sub zero temperatures are quite a regular thing in the UK from Dec - March.
