A deal I could not pass up

Not bad looking for the price. Let us know how it does when it arrives.

Dual motor; full suspension; semi-recumbent MeetOneTrike with 180nm torque @ 25 mph

Nice to hear the trikes worked out for you! I saw the current AddMotor trike and that thing was a beast! But I'm not gonna lie, it looked fun as well! I was at a grocery store and saw two kids riding thru the parking lot. One was on a 26" bmx bike riding a wheelie and the other kid was on a...

E-Bike Theft (no way to prevent it?)

Funny you say that! My local ebike shop said someone walked off with their Pedego tandem! The thief couldn't power it on for some reason and while the thief was trying a passerby recognized the tandem and notified the ebike shop. The shop got their tandem back pretty much unharmed. Needless to...

E-Bike Theft (no way to prevent it?)

I don't fully trust technology. Look at how easy it is to steal a Hyundai with a Flipper device. Make thieves really work for it if they want it. I lock my 2 ebikes together at night thru the back wheels with a LiteLok X3. I use a X1 in public. Anyways, if a thief (or bum) breaks into the garage...

    Tire liner shock! Weird!

I've ran Mr. Tuffy tire liners since my bmx days. I know how to measure them and cut them to length, like if you buy one for a 26" you cut it down to 20". I recently had my Lectric Xpedition serviced and it was discovered I had some broken spokes in the rear wheel. The shop swapped out my spare...

    Battery recall thru the CPSC.

My battery WAS NOT one of the ones mentioned in the recall. I still have a RadRunner 2 that I purchased while on sale, before the current model with the hydraulic brakes and Safe Shield battery. My 'Runner has been ridden in a downpour and left at a bike rack during a overnight storm or two. I...

    Battery recall thru the CPSC.

I tried to copy the link but my phone messed up. One of the more tech savvy can link it. Either way, it looks bad for Rad. Recall # 26-118 Issued on November 24 2025.

    Post deleted???

I've never seen censorship on this site concerning ebike reviews. Just post a new thread on the review.

Inner tubes. Our friend AND enemy.

My emergency flat kit is my phone. I'll call someone, even a cab if needed, lock and leave the bike and come back with my wife's pickup. As far as I'll be from the house is 15 miles and if I call in telling my job I'm not coming in its no big deal. When I was much younger (bmx days) the 2 main...

How does a foldable ebike work on the beach?

My limited experience with belt drive is they're bulletproof and clean. Water, sand, pretty much nothing will effect the belts performance or reliability. Now you just download an app to set the tension if you have to pull the rear wheel for a flat. Much easier than the old days for setting belt...

How does a foldable ebike work on the beach?

BUT, those Amazon ebikes are far cheaper and much more powerful than most DTC ebikes! How can anyone resist! I myself would just buy a Lectric XP Lite belt drive, knowing that it has known quality behind it, backed up by good customer support and has some verifiable UL certification. Plus it...

    shock absorbing seat posts

I use the cheap-o Zoom pogo post. Simple and affordable. Seat/post thefts are a problem in my area. I do use a HexLok in my seat post clamp to prevent this problem but I've always liked the cheap Zoom post over pricier options. Only down side is most pogo post are not very adjustable and if you...

Electric Bike Companies That Have Gone Out Of Business

I've owned 2 Runners and Rads folder. Great value and good quality. If they truly fold (Why would anyone try to rescue the brand at this point?) I'll have only fond memories.

    Multi-Terrain Tire Advice?

When we were teenagers a bunch of us (6 dummies) on bmx bikes went to a friends house. While he was out of his room we went looking for girly magazines and found a Bon Jovi 7800 Fahrenheit cassette and clowned him to tears. He finally yelled "I don't care what you guys say, I like Bon Jovi!". We...

    Multi-Terrain Tire Advice?

Not 100% on subject but I have Specialized Carless Whisper tires on my 20" cargo bike and they (Specialized) make great tires. Very durable, nice grip in all conditions and great puncture resistance. Just noticed Specialized tires mentioned above and giving my 2cents.

    Winter Riding Gloves

I've gotten them wet a few times. If it's really cold and they get wet your hands will be warm but soggy, so the gloves are not waterproof at all. That's my main complaint about them. I use cheap-o hunting gloves with the motor scooter. I carry a extra pair under the seat, so if one pair gets...

    Winter Riding Gloves

For gloves, electric heated from Milwaukee. Use batteries. For light, I have a helmet that has light mounts on the top. The lights are crazy bright but are fully adjustable for brightness. Lumos Firefly lights for a WaveCel helmet. I like the glove innovation with the watch and the flashlight...

    Weird Specialized discovery....

I just put my Xpedition in the shop and they found 6 broken spokes on the rear wheel! This was a brand new rear wheel from Lectric with only around 100 miles on it. I had the original wheel rebuilt and had them re-install that one for now. The original Xpedition has single wall rims, but my...

    Weird Specialized discovery....

I do this exact thing with motor scooters now. As I get older (A whopping 54 at current writing) I hate doing certain servicing myself. On scooters I no longer do my own valve checks, brake work and tire changes. I pay a shop now. BUT, in the event that certain services need to be done, I can...
