Best vehicle rack for step-thru e-bikes

“Nvreloader” I checked with Home Depot here in Idaho and that item is no longer available. I am thinking of this one. HYPERAX Volt Lift -Patented Lift Assisted RV Rated Hitch Mounted 2 E Bike Rack Carrier with RAMP Up to 2X 80lbs eBikes with Up to 5" Fat Tires for...

Does anyone have a manual or URL to user documents on the Photon Ultra Front Fork or the Zen suspension post?

Best vehicle rack for step-thru e-bikes

That is a great idea! I have been using a piece of PVC with straps at each ebd to keep them apart.

Best vehicle rack for step-thru e-bikes

I have the 1 up system for my e bikes. While they are easy to load with the additional purchase of the ramp, the bikes rub together if you are transporting them on the highway. I had several run marks through the paint down to bare metal. I asked the company if there are more rigid separators...

Anyone Try a CYC X1Pro Kit?

While I like having a throttle, I typically only use the throttle to cross a busy street or to restart on an uphill if I have to stop for some reason. Otherwise it is only pedal assist. But we have some pretty steep roads here and I could use a little more help now and then. I am thinking of...

Anyone Try a CYC X1Pro Kit?

I currently have a Salsa Fargo with the Bafang 1kw motor and a 52v battery. It rides ok except that the bearings dont seem to last more than a year of hard use. Ihave thought about going to the 750 watt motor but I really need the power. I understand that CYC makes an ebike kit that can go up...

Evelo Omega vs Zen Photon Pro for next E Bike

I really haven’t tried using the throttle while pedaling on the photon yet. On the Bayfang kits they changed the controller a couple of years ago so you could either pedal or throttle but not both at the same time. Consequently I don’t use it much. Heck, I haven’t even tested my max speed on...

Evelo Omega vs Zen Photon Pro for next E Bike

While the roads are typically pretty straight but hilly, the bike trails and fire roads we ride on might be called beginner to intermediate for a mountain bike. I prefer to be leaning forward a bit, not super aggressive but it allows me to take on tight curves a lot easier. Did you get the...

Evelo Omega vs Zen Photon Pro for next E Bike

Went to a flat mountain bar and a bontrager 185 saddle, fixed the sit up problem! Yes the throttle works from zero Km. I use the throttle when I have to restart going up hill or to quickly accelerate across a road. Haven‘t tried riding with just the throttle.

    Bafang M620 upgrade?

55/19. It came with 55/22 but I was having trouble keeping up with the ebike group on the flats. The changed fixed that and didnt seem to effect my climbing other than changing gear selection. I guess what I might have to consider next season is one of type 3 mountain bikes or maybe something...

    Bafang M620 upgrade?

Took the bike out for a 20 miler and noticed no issues on normal roads. It has no issues climbing the grades, it becomes about using the right gear, adding power and keeping cadence. On the way home my wife wanted to race up a long steep grade and off we went. Her bike is a 750 watt rear...

    Bafang M620 upgrade?

The motor I have is the CAN version. The manufacturer set it for off road which gave me the 1,000 watts vs the 750. It sounds like a real complicated and expensive process. I wonder if there are some other bike companies out there building small batch off road e bikes, I heard that biketrix...

    Bafang M620 upgrade?

Interesting, how do I configure the N620 for 2200watts? The display shows a max of 1500.

    Bafang M620 upgrade?

Thanks for the advice! I will stay away then. Will finish riding out this year with the bike I have.

    Bafang M620 upgrade?

Maybe I am used to a quicker bike? I will try to slow down on the hills and let the bike do most of the work.

    Bafang M620 upgrade?

It is funny that you mention BBSHD. I have 2 other ebikes one with a bafang 750W mid motor add on and another with the 1KW BBSHD kit added. Both if those bikes are lighter and seem to be much more powerful than the new bike. I guess I am spoiled as the BBSHD is powering a Salsa Via and I have...
