    Rear Wheel Removal Tip

Actually they have a few but only one street tread... again this is a relatively new market https://shop.kendatire.com/collections/plus-fat-bike I just sent a memo to corporate on this matter. But they're on sale and the coupon is still valid.

    WattWagons UCP with M630

I've had very good luck with the APT 860c display. One has 12,000mi and the other 9,000mi without any issues. It also has the 9 PAS ability I mentioned earlier that suits me much better than 5 PAS/eco/sport. Yeah that 3 speed auto hub is not for me at all. Having to fake it out to drop gears...

Need Recommendation For A Lift To Work On Our Two Heavy Ebikes

Yeah I'd probably rethink my strategy if on a multi day trip. I've been wanting to for a few years now both with the car and on the bike alone... but family responsibilities all but squashed it for now

One thing to note about the NCX springs is that I found them to be over rated weight wise. I should have been perfect with the stock medium spring supplied when purchased weighing in @165lbs ...but after switching to the Blue soft spring I found it much better on smaller bumps and without ever...

Need Recommendation For A Lift To Work On Our Two Heavy Ebikes

You're much more ambitious than I. 🙃 Those types of repairs would end the ride for me without a second thought. Not promised to any of us but tomorrow is another day. But even still you could fit and set a new hanger and derailleur and then take it along for a spare. I've also adjusted a...

Need Recommendation For A Lift To Work On Our Two Heavy Ebikes

Curious.... Why do you'all need a portable bike stand? In a pinch I'd bring something to protect my bars and seat and flip the bike upside down for repair. Other than a flat... What do you want to accomplish on the road?

    Rear Wheel Removal Tip

True... But if they can win it says something about quality. Not my brand now as I'm riding schwalbe and am very happy. But I wasn't disappointed using them in the past and buying direct the service/delivery was excellent. Kenda also makes sizes that others do not and it is a good tire...

    Rear Wheel Removal Tip

I can't guarantee that it will be perfect for you... But from my experience that would be at the top of my list with the limited selection of multi purpose tires with good pavement characteristics for 4" fat tire. And more important than awards... Past performance is no guarantee of future...

I would not categorize Kenda as low quality. Awards aren't the end all but the tire is respectable. https://americanatire.com/kenda-honored-with-national-quality-award/ https://bicycle.kendatire.com/es-es/news/bicycle-news/k-shield-awarded-for-best-puncture-protection/...

Need Recommendation For A Lift To Work On Our Two Heavy Ebikes

I agree lifts are a great solution. Mine is manual with pulleys but I can still lift a +80 bike without removing the battery with ease. I have back, arthritis and carpal tunnel issues as well. It's not in the way at all when working giving 360° access around the bike and totally out of the way...

I'm tubed 🛞 That's hard to compare as different tread and use play a big part. That said if I had to choose I'd lean Schwalbe It's like on a car... What's better Michelin or Goodyear? Many times it comes down to the type of car and how you want to drive it.

I'm using one of these Suntour NCX... which I consider mid_level/good quality for a few years now and it does work and I am happy with it. There are a few more hi_end options out there that some swear by.

    Multi-Terrain Tire Advice?

I found the Johnny Watts 356 dangerous for any type of spirited riding on pavement. They break traction easily and quickly without warning and I found myself in a slide often with aggressive braking as well. Same situations and the Al Grounder feels confidently planted. Trade off.. The JW were...

    Rear Wheel Removal Tip

I found Kenda reasonably easy... But the easiest by far have been my current Schwalbe Al Grounders 27.5 x 2.6. I didn't need to use tools at all. I've found a little soap and if you have a compressor makes setting beads a non issue. It's OK to briefly go 10 - 15 psi over max rating to do so...

    Great Little Air Compressor

No no no.... My little 3 gallon compressor is one of my most versatile tools and I use it multiple times a week. Up to 120psi in the tank in less than a minute and sets a bead, just as I need, and at lightning speed. ⚡

Magic (not real magic) chain lube for outstanding lasting performance and virtually no wear

Leaving the T9 on over night does seem to be a little better. When wiping it down this morning I only had to flip the rag to a clean spot twice. When I wipe it down after only two hours I usually have to flip the rag 4 - 5 times. I guess I'll do overnight when not inconvenient.. ymmv

    Rear Wheel Removal Tip

Well like I said... Folding a tire for shipment is somewhat common. Get it nice and warm... Sunny windowsill, boiler room, even a blow dryer.. etc... And massage it back to shape. Don't be in a rush and use a mild soap, I use diluted Simple Green and lube the bead to help seat it. If you have...
