Poking around Aliexpress and found this one, which looks like a Fumpa knock-off. Still pricey but at AU$78. They have a cheaper one at AU$52.

As one who preference is tours I am considering an electronic inflator to replace carrying CO2. I am not sure however I am willing to give up my backup Leyzene pump.

In one of his Eurobike updates, Ray Maker (DCRainmaker) mentions a new[?] electric pump from XCADEY. I am unsure if this is the one on their website or if it is a new one. It does look a little different.

Surely sparking is also an indicator of problems? My Bosch charging connection does not spark.

Interesting @peterh_nz. I have torn my Achilles Heel ligament, so I'm off the bike at the moment, but once I am sorted, I will run some more tests. I also like you find using Komoot to do the importing works better.

I do use my Garmin 1030, but the display is not always very readable (even at 100%) so having the Nyon as an alternative is handy. That plus I would like the Nyon to work.

I think I will go the direct import route and see how that plays out. I do not think Komoot really offers much value to me.

Ah yes good point. I did read that yesterday and suspect that is the problem because I did often route along a track beside the railway line or Mundering-Kalgoorlie powerline to avoid riding on the highway.
