Here’s a review of the new Vado Sl 6 1.2 with a carbon frame.

    2025 Vado

The main difference is the drivetrain using the Shimano CUES instead of the Sram. I don't know if the CUES is an upgrade or not.

    2025 Vado

I'm pretty sure there will be one. I think they're waiting until stock gets a bit lower on the current model.

    2025 Vado

I noticed Specialized posted a 2025 Vado 5 ST with a few new specs to show include Shimano CUES group set and brakes and a Cane Creek Thudbuster suspension seat post. It’ll be interesting to see what changes the Vado 3 and 4 will get...

The Weight of Specialized Full-Power E-Bikes Listed As Dry Weight (Without Battery)?

I weighed my Tero X5 with the large frame, with Rock Bros pedals that aren’t particularly light, and a water bottle cage. It also has the original tires with tubes. I used a very nice digital fish scale and hung the bike from the scale which was attached to a shelf bracket. The weight is 60.82...

The Weight of Specialized Full-Power E-Bikes Listed As Dry Weight (Without Battery)?

I’ll weigh my X5 later with the battery. On the US site I believe they list the X6 in a medium frame at 58lbs.

Turbo Creo 2 Comp E5 (aluminum) is out, is a Vado SL 2 next?

Hard to say what's true. The dealer I talked to said he had a meeting yesterday with the inside rep who told him. They ordered 5 bikes. We'll see but I won't be surprised if it's the 1.1 but it doesn't make any sense from a manufacturing standpoint to offer both motors.

A Specialized dealer told me today that the Vado SL with the 1.2 is due very soon, likely in September.

Specialized Turbo Vado SL: An Incredible E-Bike (User Club)

Any word on if/when Specialized is coming out with the SL using the 1.2 motor? I’m ready to buy one when available.

Anyone have experience with SRAM Eagle Transmission on any Specialized e-bike?

That’s weird. On their site Specialized is saying the aluminum Creo will be available in August. I didn’t any of the aluminum Creo’s have been released yet, but I could be wrong.

Anyone have experience with SRAM Eagle Transmission on any Specialized e-bike?

I'm planning to buy a Creo 2 in aluminum when available, primarily for road riding only. I considered a Roubaix, still might get one, but I do like my electric assist when needed.

Anyone have experience with SRAM Eagle Transmission on any Specialized e-bike?

Since this is a Specialized sub forum and I own a Tero X5 I would strongly suggest taking another look at the X5 or 6. I ride mine on the road all the time as well as typical single track. It’s a fantastic do it all bike.

    Current Vado/Tero motors

Not that I've noticed. They're the same motor and are very quiet relative to other brands.

    Current Vado/Tero motors

My Vado 3IGH is a little louder than my Tero X5 and my wife’s Vado 4. It’s not much louder but is noticeable, not annoying, though.

Specialized in NYC - UL Certification?

    Yes, Bosch is certified.

Specialized in NYC - UL Certification?

I believe this is true. I’m very surprised Specialized hasn’t gotten certified.

    Como 3.0 IGH battery upgrade

That's certainly what I'd do and have done on longer rides.
