Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

I have to add something about my ride today, I noticed something a little different today... Quite a few motorcycle riders waved or signaled. All sorts of bikes...from adventure bikes to cruisers. I started at San Gregorio so there were a bunch of bikes parked there of course. FWIW I was riding...

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

A rare ride for me since it went as planned! 🤣 From San Gregorio General Store (started with a breakfast sando) just down Best Road through Pescadero, and checked out Costanoa for the first time and their General Store! Added quick stop Ano Nuevo State Park for the coastal beauty (no riding...

This is where I ride… Well, my planned route was my normal Coastal Trail but then add Verde Rd and a bit of Tunitas then stopping by the Bike Hut. But of course I kept going on Lobitos Creek Road, which I rode on my Lemond years ago it is a climb! It was a greatly diverse ride...when I got...

    Ebike helmet

I also did not know there were e-bike specific helmets. The Dispatch(eBike) is 100g/0.22lb heavier than the Engage (MTB), based on the specs. The Engage has 3x the amount of venting, likely commuter oriented helmets are more rugged and cooling is not as critical as a MTB helmet used for multiple...

    Creo 2 Flat Bar Conversion

Wow...I just checked. I paid $6500 USD, in June 2025, now the Carbon Comp is $7000 (Sept 2005). The specs remain the same.

Vado SL 1 and 2 vs. Creo 2 — modeling rider power and range

Whoa, a lot of data Jeremy! my eyes are crossed. I made it through it though. Though you stated you did not included the Alloy Creo, it is about $2k less, so that is a great deal, only limiting the max tire size. Speaking of tire sizes... I just checked and Specialized finally updated the Creo...

Specialized App stops tracking if I pause ride and check a different app

My test today of the App on an iPhone. it continued to record after stopping midway to take a photo and send email as a test...I never send email during a ride. my phone goes to sleep I do not reopen the Specialized app. I only tap record and then press the main button to put it to sleep, then...

Specialized App stops tracking if I pause ride and check a different app

I just started using the Specialized app, and I stop to take photos or look at a text while it is running. I have not had it stop recording my ride when accessing other apps on my iPhone. yesterday I did not hit stop, but it did stop because I turned off the TCU on my Creo. I will check again on...

Going to upgrade my rig for crossing Rocky mts on paved roads--would you comment plz?

Wally, great to get some more background on the ride you are planning. Looks like a great challenge. Sounds like you are open to your bike set up. Hopefully your research and suggestions by others familiar with the type of riding you will be doing will give you suggestions. The amount of mileage...

Going to upgrade my rig for crossing Rocky mts on paved roads--would you comment plz?

A coincidence, with this thread I was thinking of Ryan Van Duzer, who was riding a Bruzer which is on the Cyclingabout site. I love watching this type of adventure riding videos from around the world. this video happens to be on trails I have ridden on my MTB in the SF Bay Area. I do not do...

Going to upgrade my rig for crossing Rocky mts on paved roads--would you comment plz?

Wally, I just saw your 2nd post https://forums.electricbikereview.com/threads/no-e-bikes-allowed.58101/ Can you summarize your trip into a few bullet points because of your statement quoted below (I don't have time to read 5 pages on that thread) That amount of mileage even for an experienced...

Going to upgrade my rig for crossing Rocky mts on paved roads--would you comment plz?

Yes, changing to a 40mm tire will be dramatically more comfortable than a 25mm wide tire...not only on gravel but on the pavement as well. But many questions... Is there frame clearance for a 40? can your wheels mount a 40mm? Gearing. I agree with Jeremy, your current gearing is not for hill...

    2025 Creo 2 Alloy review

Ebikelife72, Nice review of the 2025 E5. It's cool that your new model came with the new Pathfinder TLR Fast Gravel tire instead of the old Tracers. The pistachio color is nice too.

    Just for fun...

Just for fun, but bike related. I just put new Hunt wheels on my Hakka on the first step to converting it a 90% road 10% gravel bike. (Hunts = 20mm ID, 44 depth carbon wheelset...nothing fancy) two years ago I used this stock bike with one change, 32mm Conti GP 5000s tires for a Metric Century...

2025 - Our Rides in Words, Photos, Maps and Videos

I forgot to add... The Creo 2 comes with Specialized Tracer Pro 42mm, (not the 47mm that the first gen Creo spec'd ... and as of July 2025, the Specialized Creo 2 product page is still incorrectly listing the 47mm as the tire size) I replaced the stock with Continental Terra Speed, 45mm on Roval...

2025 - Our Rides in Words, Photos, Maps and Videos

Stefan, the ebike is new to me, so I am still figuring out it usage. I also have non-e MTBs, gravel/road bikes. I am riding the Creo on both pavement and dirt/gravel trails. Riding it from my house to short trails sections is my goal. Example..I have to ride about 8 miles on pavement to get to...

2025 - Our Rides in Words, Photos, Maps and Videos

Trying the third photo thread here on EBR, as recommended… I rode the Creo 2 with power off 90% of the ride since my friend was on a regular bike. My other road bikes are not up for the ride at the moment. We started and ended with live music at the General Store. Great day, even though the fog...

Como Turbo 3.0 wheel cracks after 4 yrs, 6500 kilometers

Funny Stefan.... I forget I don't weigh 180 anymore, I am literally just finishing mounting tires to my new Hunt carbon wheels on my Hakka, but for road use with Conti GP5000s.
