Using a two syringe method is best for tricky bleeds like this. Use a kit and adapters that fit the lever and the caliper. ALWAYS remove the brake pads before bleeding and use a proper brake block to hold the pistons open.
I'm glad you sorted out both the noise and the proper installation point of that unique seatpost. I hope they used carbon paste.
IMO the most important torques on a bike for safety:
Saddle to seatpost
Stem cap to bars
Pedals to crank
Quick release or through axle to frame

The only thing to assemble with the Cycplus pump is putting the silicone cover on, and screwing the hose on if you want to. It just needs a charge before use. That's assuming that you have the same one as I do.
