Good to hear. I bought the Magnum Metro (basically the same bike) and have had similar satisfaction. 2 yrs, 5200 miles, 2 flats, replaced both tires with Panaracer Comet Hard Pack for better traction on gravel, added a Thudbuster seat post. Solid, sturdy, dependable and fun to ride.

I bought my Magnum Metro two years ago from the store Houshmand bought out and moved. In 5200 miles of 80% paved trails, 20% gravel I've had two flats - both sidewall on the original Schwalbe Big Bens - lost a small bolt holding rear fender to frame, needed new chain and the freewheel went out...

Love my Wald baskets, use a bungee net from Amazon to go over the top when I really have a load. They sell them in different sizes, think mine is 15".

Problem actually showed up after a very thorough clean, new chain and lube, as if the dirt kept it working.

Freewheel shot, needs "special tool" to replace. Local Magnum dlr says they have tool but freewheel (8 Spd) is not in stock, taking a week to replace.

Freewheel on my 2yr old 5200 mi Metro is not engaging when pressure is off/slacks on pedals, pedals spin for a rotation or two, I'm worried about my feet slipping off pedals and striking ground, not recommended for 77 yr. olds. Anyone else run into this? I've emailed Magnum, waiting on reply.
