Anyone use a trainer with your ebike?

The thing about smart trainers is their ability to offer variable and realistic resistance. Google bkool for more info and then widen your search to YouTube, but bear in mind that your bike needs to be able to take a std qr spindle.

Not only does it keep your phone charged but it can be set to dim the screen automatically and be brought back to full brightness with one touch of any of the thumb controller buttons or a turn if using the nav.

New eBike owner in the UK

I too am awaiting a new supercharger with Kiox and e-14 from Onbike in Worcester. Mine is planned for sometime in November but I am reliably informed that RM is moving the factory at Christmas and is trying to get all their orders out before then so may come early. I am an ebike veteran of 5...

    How steep is your hill?

I am surrounded by hills and this example is typical having a maximum gradient of 23%. The vid is down the hill but my Bosch powered ebike will climb it without a problem, its just the vid would be 4 times as long.

Anyone use a trainer with your ebike?

I have a Giant Road e+1 and connect it to a Bkool Smart Trainer for the winter and it connects just like any other bike, just neede to change the skwer for the QR one that came with the trainer. It offers me video rides all over the world so use it unpowered and choose rides that are not too...

Riese Muller Supercharger with Kiox Display

I have just ordered a new 2019 Supercharger with the e-14 and Kiox display. As a Cobi user I have become used to direct Strava uploads and not needing a separate bike computer so was a bit disappointed to find that Cobi does not support Electronic shifting so went with Kiox hoping for the...

I have had my Cobi for nearly one year and after a few early niggles, one replacement under warranty and one inexplicable total failure it has worked reasonably well. It does have some connection issues and I am of the opinion that a lot is down to my phone (Samsung S6) where a phone reboot...

    Anyone else get a Cobi

Bike came with intuvia so no kit needed its just slide intuvia out and slide Cobi in, or vise versa and that's one of the things I like about it. It has never actually let me down on a ride, the problems have occurred at home when getting ready to go, so I am now assuming the original unit was...

    Anyone else get a Cobi

For the most part my Cobi works really well. This replacement unit has had one severe connection episode where I had to reset and reinstall everything and then it just started working again and has been faultless since. If you are into gadgets then it is for you.. Even the geeky bell and...

    Anyone else get a Cobi

I bought my Cobi just before Christmas and found it easy to set up on by Bosch emtb. It worked really well, in fact it was bordering on excellent until one day it asked for an update and then locked up half way through.. Support was a bit slow but when it became apparent that resseting and...
