The motor cable comes from the axel then plugs into an adapter cable that lands at the controller. The controller has 3 bullet connectors. Is that correct? Sounds like it’s just the adapter cable that is impacted. Do you have a picture? I have this bike as well, but it’s completely different.

Only if you use a thumb throttle. Right hand half-twist throttles are ok though.

Some dump sites have paint available. This is paint that was to be tossed, but gets mixed with other paints. Usually a blue color. Some artists, and art teachers, use this paint for large projects. Hopefully, something similar is used here as well.
