    The likely incoming 750w limit

Life is full of choices; what you want is periodically not one of them. We are fortunate (at 70) our bikes still keep our knees happy.

Back to basics: Don't be a douche rider and nobody will care what you are riding.

    machinists don't use torque wrenches

When we got ebikes, I bought torque wrenches. I am confident I was over-torqueing before.

With 125% tariffs, will the e-bike market die?

220 yds = 660 ft. Know that because high school track event is 1/4 mile or 440 yd (in my day.) (Might be meters now, don't know.)

No big deal (as long as one has a useablebrain)!

It's wealth redistribution; many don't consider that win-win. I fully agree there are people that need assistance. It should come from state/local rather than federal.

Although I disagree with incentives, I take advantage of them. Would have put solar on my van even without tax credit. Makes complete sense to buy $400 worth of panels and get 30% tax credit on the ~$5000 worth of system. Added: if something is a good idea, shouldn't need a government bribe...

I disagree with federal gov't incentives for anything.

I'm an independent, but vote Republican against Democrats. There is little chance some other than D or R has a chance; would vote for Libertarian if there was a chance.

Very true, but it gives people something to whine about. I have 2 sets of wrenches. If one feels loose in fit, I grab the other set and see if one fits better; I realize that is an inconvenience, but I waste more than 14 seconds doing other things.

    Reflectors covered by warranty?

I'm not a lawyer, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Short answer more than likely yes they can. The enduser is responsible for complying with the law, not the manufacturer. Manufacturers will comply initially so they can sell their product. Since you also said "broke off"...

Unfortunately the tree blossoms don't last long. I expect they'll be done when we get back in a week.

Here is another hobby that could be affected big time by tariffs; used market should benefit.

Besides NBC, I watch a Fidelity newsfeed that is primarily Reuters reports. Plus Fidelity financial newsletters. Although I am conservative, I do not watch conservative TV (no cable or streaming services). Although I do listen to Fox Business on XM when driving.

I watch NBC news. Unless they do a story, I don't hear it unless it is brought up on one of the 2 forums I am relatively active on. Most of the stuff you all are talking about is the first I am hearing it. Perhaps many should stay off the internet, they'd be less stressed.
