Yup. H550 (G062) geared rear hub motor. Is that what you meant, Mark, or were you asking if it is an IGH (internally geared hub, as in it shifts internally) … which it is not.

Interesting! FYI, I have a 1000W geared Bafang motor, and I do not have any delay at all in the (thumb-activated) throttle. I mean, to the point that if I accidentally bounce the throttle when I’m off and parking the bike it has almost pulled out of my hands! I view this as a welcome feature...

Very tasty IPA. Interesting aside… I used to not really like canned beers/ales/etc… Even when Guinness introduced their nitrogen-infused stuff. But, I don’t know whether I’ve adjusted to it or what, but cans are fine for me these days. :)

Looks like electronics upgrade plus suspension seat post. Also, obviously, different frame but I don’t know if that’s a plus or minus for you. The Aventure 2 certainly has a lot of riders/followers. I’ve heard very few (if any) negatives about it.
