    Electric problems

First think you need to do is figure out why your battery is jammed and extract it so that its going in and out of the mount smoothly. That sounds like mis-installation to me. Once you do that, if the battery is still fluctuating, it's probably time to replace it. Batteries are notoriously...

    Stomer - Stolen and resold

Interesting. For the record, I purchased my Stromer ST2S from Lenny and have nothing but good things to say about the experience. OP - you left out several details and were not very forthright and honest before coming to the forum for advice. That was bad form.

    Stomer - Stolen and resold

    a) You can certainly call the Police if you think that's what you need to do, where exactly was it stolen? Unless you know the location, date and appx time they will laugh at you. Truthfully it's a civil case, the merchant failed to deliver you the goods as promised through no fault of your...

    Stomer - Stolen and resold

Stromer is not involved in this, this is a Merchant/Customer issue, it would be a waste of time to pursue with the factory representative. (I have owned a retail / dealership store for over 30 years now and have done overseas ships - I know this drill !). Also, this is not a police issue...

Brooks Cambium Seat (19) - a little bit of heaven

The Cambium is made of rubber, not leather like a traditional Brooks I had 30 years ago. No break in on the Cambium its ready to go out of the box. I remember how miserable that old leather Brooks was until it was broken in, I didn't want to have to go through all that again. Suspension...

    Broken spokes

I check by grabbing two crossing spokes between two fingers and pinch them together. If this is possible and I get some creaking sound they are to loose. If I can hardly pinch them, tension is alright. The best way to check spoke tension is to grab a small open end wrench with a long handle...

Brooks Cambium Seat (19) - a little bit of heaven

My Stromer came with a very cool, very trick, very expensive Fizik seat. it looks great on the bike and was a torture rack. I was told by my buddy who rides road bikes regularly "Get your ass broke into the seat, give it 300 miles or several weeks". So I did. Hated it. I went with a Brooks...

Stromer ST2 will not power on

Currently my ST2 is completely dead. I pulled the battery out, waited 1 hr, put the batter back in, nothing, will not power at all. The battery is 100% charged since I was charging it out of the bike. If you approach this logically, from what I read the bike was working BEFORE you pulled the...

    cool weather gear

Here's the secret of cold weather riding and gear. It's not so much what you put on your extremities, it's that you keep your torso warm Your vital organs are all in your torso, and your circulation system will slow the blood flow to your limbs if your inner core is getting cold. Keep your...

    Ebike gearing

I may ride my ST2S differently from the rest of you, but I am ALWAYS changing gears constantly, especially in the hilly areas where I live. A typical ride for me is 15 to 25 miles out and then back so 30 to 50 miles total. I always try to leave the bike on minimal assist and pedal to a cadence...

Front end not balanced, shakes, wobbles

Aerodynamics and fore/weight balance greatly affect 2-wheelers, and most of us are so used to running around in cars we pay scant attention when we change the balance in our cars as it doesn't affect stability much. On motorcycles and bicycles, its HUGE. One of the many motorcycles I have...

    I just bought a stromer st2

You need the 31.6mm Body Float Tube Diameter for a Stromer ST2. Short shaft should be more than adequate. The stock rack on an ST2 is quite small, you may have to replace it with a larger one.

Front end not balanced, shakes, wobbles

This is called a 'speed wobble' and its the result of center of gravity, weight, and in some cases aerodynamics. I run into it frequently on motorcycles, when panniers (luggage) and top cases are put on the back of the motorcycle then loaded up. Speed and weight on the tail plus the airflow...

    Brooks saddles

I ride with a Brooks Cambium 19 (Touring). So far, so good. Saddles are very personal, you just have to keep trying one until you find one that works for you.

Thule Easy Fold bike rack for E-bikes

The only way a bike could fall off this rack is through operator error, failure to secure it properly. It's a very positive engagement system but does require you use it correctly, i.e., tighten until you hear the 'click'
