So what's the guess on the new Lectric ONE product coming March 12?

Agreed, many people are paying close to 2k for dozens of E-Bikes that don't come close to what Lectric One offers. If you think it doesn't meet your criteria then forget it.

[confused] Torque sensor, gear ratio, pedal assist

Thanks Jeremy... I was an avid cyclist also (73yr old now) had heart trouble at 50 and was unable to ride for years until the E-bike. Wow I tell you just being out on a bike again is heaven. Im going to try a torque sensing bike to see difference, I will have to wait awhile however I live in...

[confused] Torque sensor, gear ratio, pedal assist

Your riding style and your choice of bike seem almost identical to mine. I ride a Bagi bike with Bafang 500w hub with a 9 level PAS controller. I bought on trial a Evelo Aurora mid motor with manual CVT hub. Did not like it at all. Couldn't find a sweet spot to save my soul. Sticking with the...

    Battery Rebuild Controversy

With all the controversy over E-bike batteries and the possible danger they can pose, I'm wondering if rebuilding batteries is going to continue to be a possibility. There are calls for all batteries to be UL approved. Many of the bikes on road today have batteries that are hard to replace and...

Are mid drives just naturally less zippy than hub motors?

wow I'm finally realizing that. I have been riding a 500 watt hub with derail for 2 yrs. I decided to by a mid motor with a enviolo hub manual twist shifter. (Evelo Aurora SL) I just don't like the feel. I also feel I have to work way to hard to get the speed and cadence I like on the Evelo...

Are mid drives just naturally less zippy than hub motors?

I have a Evelo Aurora and it seems I have to work harder than my other bike; 500 watt rear Bafang with derail. ????

    Aurora Power Curve.

I can't seem to get much power in level 1 or 2 on my Aurora LS (manual shift) . I want exercise when I ride but... I shouldn't have to go to level 3 or 4 to cruise at a comfortable cadence . What's going on ??

Hello How do you like your Evelo Aurora SL. I just ordered supposedly the last one available from Evelo. It was a "open box" revamped model with the manual shift and chain. The gave it a new motor also. Paid $1650 for it which I thought was good deal. Would like your thoughts on the bike.

Dost Drop vs Evelo Aurora Limited

Hi Hi....Im Jack I just ordered an Aurora SL which is interesting. My understanding is the SL's are all revamped open box Limited's that have been reconfigured. What Evelo discovered was the Limited actually had some frame flex problems that caused the belt system to place too much torque on...

The bikes seem like a great value. The company is run by pros who know their stuff and should be very competitive in the booming E-bike business.

    POLL: Speed Limit Per Level

A lot of what you are talking about here is too tech for me but I do get the basics. Manufactures need to put more into research into ALL the forces that go into propelling the "simple bicycle" and then apply sensory and computer tech to solve the problems. Like "they" say we can put a man on...
