AVOID RIZE BIKES AT ALL COST.

What would be bad is if they refused to honor the warranty during its final month. You'd blow up if they did that. Why should the warranty end-date be soft in your favor but not theirs? TT

    E-bike rental in Orange County

Guessing: You're going to the Orange wine region of Slovenia, not Orange County, California?

    Slime in my tires

Apparently you've had problems with Slime. I have not, and since it's still a very popular product, it seems safe to assume most people don't. I wouldn't hesitate to use it in my old analog Trek that takes 100 psi, but I haven't ridden it in years. (I plan to at some point!) Take it for...

    Slime in my tires

Well, yeah, if there's something you can find going through the tire, remove it. And I'm not about to say any sealant works 100% of the time or under all circumstances but it works a lot better than you make it seem. A whole lot of punctures go entirely unnoticed because of Slime. TT

    Slime in my tires

Maybe in your experience, but not mine. Just about the whole idea of Slime, and other sealants, is that you don't even know you have a puncture most of the time. If it worked as you describe Slime would have gone bankrupt and disappeared years ago. TT

    wireless brakes.

I'm sure hydraulic brakes are wonderful but they can't tell you through manual feedback whether you're going to stop in time. You figure that out through other senses and adjust your squeeze accordingly. Same thing with hydraulic brakes, mechanical brakes, or dragging your feet (except you...

    wireless brakes.

You can probably feel it more with mechanical brakes, but what is it you're feeling? What tells you you're applying too much, or not enough, brake? I could be wrong, but I think it has little to do with what you're feeling with your hands or fingers. I think it's much more about the change of...

    wireless brakes.

I wonder how much "feeling the brakes" through your hands really matters. I'm sure it helps, and in a panic stop you know to squeeze as hard as you can, but I'll bet most of the "feeling" comes from the change in inertia the brakes cause. If you think you're about to fly over the handlebars...

    It's cataract surgery time

Aside from all of the other important considerations, try to think about it from the point of view of which decision would you most regret NOT going with two years from now? $9k is a lot of money now, but will it seem like all that much in a couple of years? TT

Brakes levers stopping motor? How to fix?

Why don't they need lubrication? That doesn't sound right to me. TT

Brakes levers stopping motor? How to fix?

Not regular WD40! There's a Specialty WD40 White Lithium spray that would be good. TT

Brakes levers stopping motor? How to fix?

Brake and shifter cables need regular lubrication. Put a few drops of oil on the cable itself and let gravity work it down inside the housing Pump the brakes to help it. You might have to situate the bike right to get gravity to work for you. Then turn the bike the other way up and do the...

    Show Us a Tool

Why is that? This stuff sounds pretty good. Is it a matter of getting it in the little holes and getting it back out? I assume you don't want it drying in the holes along with whatever oxidation it loosened up. Could you just blow it out with a can of compressed air? TT

UPDATE!!! Battery suddenly died during a ride

Could be, especially if you were pulling a long hill and or it was especially hot out. Did you ever clean and grease all of your contacts? I'd say the symptoms match my theory better than they do yours and my theory involves doing something you ought to do anyway, if you haven't already...

It's worth cleaning all of the battery contacts with some contact cleaner and a toothbrush followed up with some dielectric grease. TT

Bike tires? Puncture proof? Skid proof?

It means you will notice the rolling resistance. I have no idea how true that is. Their website makes the Tannus Airless tire sound pretty good though. Of course, they might be a little biased. If they solve the flat tire problem, what are you going to do if your chain falls off, or any of...
