    ebike communications protocol

Communications protocol? Well typically the controller sends out a signal. If the receiver is in the mood, it'll give it a clue that it's in the mood, like maybe a wink or a smile. Then the controller continues communicating through gesturing of offering to buy dinner, or exchange USB drives...

Total e-bike ban after a fatality in Key Biscayne, FLA

it might be true that people die every day from avoidable accidents. but to go back to an old movie, the joker rightly pointed out that expected deaths we just ignore. but when something unique and extraordinary happens we all freak out. as a result the normal kid gets hit by a normal bike...

    Rearview Safety Options For Ebikes

Although I do have a handlebar end mirror, my best rear view assistant is the Garmin varia. The mirror bounces around with bumpy trails, and the varia has seen things before I've spotted them in the mirror especially in darker trails

    NH ebike trail ban bill.

I'm sure there are some in this country that would say if e-biked where equipped with a gun, then every person in the country would be allowed to have one and ride it through Walmart if they wanted to

    NH ebike trail ban bill.

Wow they set the speed limit at which e-bike would be classified as a motor vehicle at 15 mph. At least they could set it in accordance with the current e-bike classifications and say 20 miles an hour or above

    Does your e-bike need makeup?

It's not lights or anything fancy, but I bought a package from this company more as a frame protector and just to give it a little bit of style.

    Koomot v Ride With GPS

    Riding in mixed company

My only problem with group rides with recumbents is where you're riding. Case in point: I frequently ride the very busy towpath between Cleveland and Akron Ohio. The wider profile of recumbents, and high volume of people, makes for unsafe conditions (in my opinion only)

    Display Screen Question

I don't know of a film, I don't know if your display has contrast settings that might help, otherwise as suggested crank the brightness up. I use prescription sunglasses when I ride also. When I stop I'll take a look at the display screen with the glasses down just to see what's happening. Cuz...

    The Sound of Gravel

My favorite place to ride is the Ohio - Erie towpath trail. 80 some miles long, about 90% gravel. A few paved sections and lots of history along the trail.
