I find Aventon customer service very responsive. My experience with the Aventure has been uniformly positive. The Bafang motor is incredible.

I misread your posting. I think the throttle is fixed as it is separate from the PAS system. You would need a different throttle system.

I also have a Pace 500 and keep the tire pressure at 50–The Level has the same tire—I will check and see whether I can go higher. You can keep pressure higher for narrower tires. Fat Tires, though, I’ve never heard of them much higher than 30.

I only relate my experience in the year and four bikes (one Non Aventon Bike) that I have taken in the rain. I have observed no degradation in the Aventon bikes. I recognize your experience and concerns may be different.

I have transported my Pace 500 and my Aventure in driving rains without batteries and without incident. Aventon indicates the bike will not be harmed in rainstorms. I can attest to that having ridden into a sudden rainstorm at the edge of a tornado.

Isn’t it great to have so many e-bike choices? I don’t miss the throttle so much. If you look at the Truckrun motor used, they have, but don’t recommend a throttle. I think the Priority people designed this bike to be first a bike and second a PA bike. I would note it is fine for hills.

the PAS1 setting/throttle has never been a problem for my Pace. when the PAS engages, I tap the brakes after a moment for a smooth acceleration. The throttle isn’t an issue either and we have some tough hills here. To each his own.

What mileage between charges?

I I read the dealer’s manual and it appears this is an automatic CVT as opposed to Enviolo’s manual shift. It does not appear to me that the Shimano has quite the gear ratio. I think they’re both good. I haven’t heard of a bad Shimano product yet. I wouldn’t be afraid

Envelo is great on the Priority Current.

I added a suspension seat post which is fine and the new batteries will be 500w, same as those which came with the bike.

I spoke with Priority and they said they will be selling extra batteries (wattage unknown) sometime in December. The battery really is the only thing that limits this bike.
