I think most could if they tried. Really quite easy.

15k down ? That’s the down payment and rebate combined , right ? At 4.5 % , I got a payment of $ 596 for 60 based on the EUV Premier with the launch package. Way too much for me, for what it is. I could see a lease payment around $250 with 3k out of pocket.

That‘s MSRP plus tax and dealer fees. No discount beyond the 6300 . So, financing would be based on 41k minus down payment.

It was a Premier with the launch package . 47k with taxes and dealer fees.

Thanks , I’ve used those before. It just seems crazy for an entry level EV.

Talked to dealer on a Bolt to see what the best deal is. After discounts and rebates and with 8500 down , the payment was $624 for 60 months. Does that seem correct ?

I don’t even have a car presently. My bike and a basket has been all I need for the summer. Of course, you can’t buy a car,even if you want to. 5k markup on a Civic !

How do you rationalize riding an Ebike ,when human powered is much cleaner ? And I agree we can have different opinions and not resort to silly name calling.

The idea that EVs are “clean” , is highly disputable. China has a new coal plant coming on line every week, so what we do is nothing more than symbolic ,when you look at the big picture.

It’s a moot point in my town. No EVs are available. I also agree it’s a tough decision ,considering how we have nearly perfected the ICE.

When it takes the same time to charge as it does to fill your car, it will work.

No reason to exaggerate , I live in northern Mi and it’s plenty cold. I can see them for urban use as long as you have garage or access to a quick charging station but does that apply to the Bolt ?

You’re reading way too much into it. Camps ? Too funny. Just passing along a little info. Ou must see the humor in a company ,that tells you not to park your EV in the garage, in fear of fire. Run an extension cord out to the street ? It shows this whole EV thing is still in its infancy...

I see what you did there, you little rascal ! You implied that GM would give you $6000 without signing a waiver to not sue. They won’t. Why the GM cheerleading ? Stock owner? How many GM products have you owned ?
